The murals at Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok are truly amazing. They chronicle the Thai story and stretch for dozens of metres. Luckily I had a very wide lens as these Monks walked past admiring the artwork.
One of the most striking things at Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, is all the gilded, walls, figures, spires, et. This wall was very ornate and glittered in the sunlight.

Taken at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) in Bangkok, Thailand
Wat Phra Kaew is Thailand’s most important and sacred temple and dates back to 1782 when Bangkok was founded. Despite being crowded with tourists it is still well worth the visit. This temple is home to the Emerald Buddha along with over 100 buildings all decorated in gold and brightly coloured mosaics.
Wat Phra Kaew is also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. This is some of the amazing architectural elegance on the outside of the Temple, which does not allow photography inside.
STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CAMERA / The Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple (wat) in Thailand. It is located in the historic center of Bangkok (district Phra Nakhon), within the grounds of the Grand Palace. / The construction of the temple started when King Buddha Yodfa Chulaloke (Rama I) moved the capital from Thonburi to Bangkok in 1785. Unlike other temples it does not contain living quarters for monks; rather, it has only the highly decorated holy buildings, statues, and pagodas. The main building is the central ubosoth, which houses the Emerald Buddha. /
