Harley was catching snowflakes on his tongue today. If you look closely, you can see some on his tongue. Harley is now eight years old. We adopted him when he was six years old. He is a golden retriever/australian sheperd mix, with some chow. When we see Harley being lighthearted like this, we can see the dog he was meant to be. Harley does have some bagged from when he was in a shelter all those years, but who cares - WE LOVE HIM for who he is, inspite of past hangups! WE WORK THROUGH BAGGAGE! LOL.. this is my moms funny little dog.. her name is Little Girl. They found her a few years ago in the middle of a busy intersection. When they pulled over & opened the car door, she jumped in & never left. My kids just LOVE this little dog.. hope you do too :) /

This is my wonderful boy Harley. He is a golden retriever/austrian shepard mix, and I think a little chow. My sister and I adopted him 2 yrs ago when he was six. He just had a home for maybe 1 1/2 yrs, otherwise he was in a shelter. Seems like everyone, thought their home was not where Harley was suppose to be. Everyone agrees now he is home at last, with Lynn and I. All I know Harely and Julie our other adopted dog, make our lives complete. / This was taken with a Canon Rebel XT

The Fulford Village Fair (York) is held on August Bank Holiday Monday every year with stalls, games, childrens’ & parents’ races, tug of war, mini steam engine rides, sometimes a tank and always a fire engine. / In the Exhibition Hall you will find giant carrots, perfect onions, red roses, paintings, cakes, bread, embroidery, handicrafts and photographs. This year I entered for the first time, submitting two images. / Icy Diamonds took second prize in the General Black & White category. / Icy Diamonds My Girlies took first prize in the Colour Portrait category. / Not only that, they won the Gate Fulford Cup for Best in Show! / WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
