  • CATCHING SNOWFLAKES
    by mlynnd

    US$4.16–US$95.00

Harley was catching snowflakes on his tongue today. If you look closely, you can see some on his tongue. Harley is now eight years old. We adopted him when he was six years old. He is a golden retriever/australian sheperd mix, with some chow. When we see Harley being lighthearted like this, we can see the dog he was meant to be. Harley does have some bagged from when he was in a shelter all those years, but who cares - WE LOVE HIM for who he is, inspite of past hangups! WE WORK THROUGH BAGGAGE! This image has been a Group Avatar and Challenge winner. Also, place twice in the Top Ten in two challenges. Been featured twice also. Catching Snowflakes is featured in Happy Haven today 12/08/08. Thank you so much. Catching Snowflakes won the Tongues Challenge for Man’s Best Friend group, today 12/17/08. Catching Snowflakes placed in the top ten of the Most Heartwarming Rescue Story Challenge for the Rescued Pet group, today 12/20/08 Catching Snowflakes is featured in TPW, today 12/27/08. Thank you. Catching Snowflakes placed in the Top Ten of the Your Pets Making Silly Faces challenge. Playful Photogenic Pets group – 03/13/09

  • The Chase, by Alma Lee
    by Alma Lee

    US$4.32–US$98.80

It is always the Chase with Spot, the conquest is secondary. But then again they had it coming, first the mouse ventured out for that last forbidden morsel, and of course Tabby just could let the opportunity pass…well then the rest is history as they say. What is not shown, as it was too graphic for the housekeepers it what lies on the flip side of this picture…the mess. Some things are better left unseen! About this painting: / Size 14”x15” / Media: color pencil, metallic marker / Material: 140 lb Bristol / Style: Modern Cubism / Original Status: SOLD

This is an acrylic painting (6×6 inches) of a beautiful Doberman named Phoebe. She is a rescue dog that found a forever home. I just wonder what she was thinking about when her picture was taken. Like all rescue animals, Phoebe must have some incredible stories that we will never know…

  • PORTRAIT OF HARLEY
    by cdudak

    US$4.16–US$95.00

This is my wonderful boy Harley. He is a golden retriever/austrian shepard mix, and I think a little chow. My sister and I adopted him 2 yrs ago when he was six. He just had a home for maybe 1 1/2 yrs, otherwise he was in a shelter. Seems like everyone, thought their home was not where Harley was suppose to be. Everyone agrees now he is home at last, with Lynn and I. All I know Harely and Julie our other adopted dog, make our lives complete. / This was taken with a Canon Rebel XT

  • Cane Corso (CC) :: Where Size, Power, Balance and Movement merge into the Ideal! / These dogs are classic Mastiffs without the loose skin of other related Mastiff breeds and were once used as cattle drivers. The Corso is a working breed and due to its history of boar hunting, guardian of people and farms, and butcher’s dog, they are required to function under high levels of stress. They are bred for strength, agility, temperament, endurance and, above all, companionship. Cane Corsos originating from the country of origin (Italy) tend to possess a more outgoing, stable temperament than their American counterpart. Cane Corsos are extremely loyal to their family and very aloof with strangers. They are a large breed of dog and take up lots of space on the couch, in the house and in the car. They drool and prefer to wipe their faces on their owners pants. Corsos like to sit close to their family and will sit on your feet, lean against you, often lay their heavy head in your lap. They like to follow you where ever you go and be a part of whatever you do. A cute, eight-week-old Corso puppy will soon turn into a large, dominant dog. That’s why it is very important that Corso get an early basic obedience education and live in a household that uses positive reinforcement and reward based training. Allow it to play, but never to jump! Trust me, you don’t want a 100++ pound mass of muscles jumping on you! Time, Commitment and Patience have their Rewards! Corsos long to be with people and require a couple hours a day of attention and exercise. Such noble dogs deserve nothing less! Puppy Time Sets of Two / / /

  • D O O B I E
    by Hollie Nass

    US$5.99–US$136.80

I took this RAW shot of Doobie this morning.. Until today, I haven’t been able to open any of my RAW files in photoshop. No one ever told me about card readers lol.. Anyway.. I bought one today & it worked, so I guess this would be considered HDR? lol.. I like this shot cause you can tell how soft her ears are! I’ve never pet a dog as soft as my Doobie girl!! Yesterday she had her biphosphanate treatment along with some acupuncture, so she’s feeling a little better, well.. actually a lot better right now as I just fed her some organic buffalo meat for dinner! She’ll be eating better than me for her last few months! / Cannon xsi 50 mm 1.4 lens
