Melbourne has a fascinating and marvelous mix of Victorian and contemporary architecture, and I love juxtaposition. I have never considered myself an architectural/structures photgrapher, but of late I seem to have started capturing images of this type. This one is one of my favourites, not only because of the juxtaposition, the color and the composition, but also because it was one of the best images I caught during a wonderful afternoon spent photographing with two very wonderful friends, and it is one of the first RAW images I edited in a decent package (ACDSee Pro 2).
A large advertising billboard in George Street, Sydney.

Images of the same tent juxtaposed. Nikon D80 with Nikkor 18-200mmVR lens….......camera handheld and no filters used.
Just an interesting juxtaposition from my recent beach holiday.
