Jungle of my mind
by TRACY BAGNALLI stumble through the images and the songs of yesteryear, / I battle with a monster who has swallowed all my fear.
A poem to go with my image of the same name, the words took longer to come as I went through a bit of a sticky time. I am trying to learn to live with mental distress. I try to do this through art, images and poems. The process of art takes me away from the every day stresses of life, I am now ready to explore the illness through my art and have started to make art objects, before all I could do was make poems about it. I find it helps in many ways.
