  • ‘I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, / Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, / Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, / With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.’ A Midsummer Night’s Dream Quote. Act ii. Scene.1 This is a Through the Viewfinder Image and has been taken with a Kodak Duaflex 75.

  • Buyer’s Booth Picture The 1966 FIFA World Cup was held in England from July 11 to July 30. England won the final, beating West Germany 4-2, giving them their first and as yet, only World Cup triumph, and notably the first controversial final match in the world cup history. London’s Wembley Stadium was the venue for the final, and a crowd of 98,000 crammed inside the famous stadium. Just 12 minutes had gone when Helmut Haller put West Germany ahead, but Geoff Hurst levelled just four minutes later. Martin Peters then put England ahead again in the 78th minute and England looked set to claim the title. However, the referee awarded a free kick to West Germany with one minute left, the ball was aimed goalward and Wolfgang Weber poked it across the line to level the scores at 2-2 and the game went to extra time. In the 98th minute Hurst’s shot hit the crossbar, bounced down into the goalmouth and the long running debate has gone on ever since on whether it did cross the line. In the last minute Hurst completed his, and the only ever, World Cup Final hat-trick, just as the crowd started to invade the pitch BBC commentator Kenneth Wolstenholme’s historic commentary has become one of the most famous sports related lines: “Some people are on the pitch. They think it’s all over.” (Hurst hammers the ball into the net) “It is now!”.

  • This is an unedited photo taken of a summer trip. I loved the feel of this. I was shopping , on my way to get my nails done, and then I turned the corner. This was staring at me and I took the shot. At first, I was wishing the man at the door would move, but actually, he has grown on me with time! I hope you enjoy it like i do! ST. LOUIS< MISSOURI

  • Featured In The Art Of Pain Inspired by one of the most beautiful songs, Falling Awake by Gary Jules. This represents how society is constantly forming and moulding you to be who they want you to be. And the best feeling is when you fall awake and realise who you have become and just break free. You fall away and fall into yourself… Eagle in the dark / Feathers in the pages / Monkeys in my heart / Rattling their cages / Found a way to blue / Another ghost to follow / Said its only up to you / It’s the hardest pill to swallow / Mmmmmhmmmmmhhhmmm You never get to choose / You live on what they send you / You know the kind of use / Things you love will get you / One foot in the grave / One foot in the shower / There’s never time to save / You’re paying by the hour And that’s just the way it goes / Falling awake / And that’s just the way it goes Slipping through the bars / Aware of the danger / Of riding in the cars / Taking candy from strangers / You’re never out of hand / Never out of pocket / Super sonic man / Do you want to buy a rocket Well that’s just the way it goes / Falling awake / Falling awake / And that’s just the way it goes / Falling awake / Falling awake Eagle in the dark / Feathers in the pages / Monkeys in my heart / Are rattling their cages / I could learn to play the game / Learn to run the hustle / If I only had the brains / The money or the muscle P.S. Get your hands on this song ASAP, its so beautiful… Ahh… self portrait

  • Happy Challenge / “Rate yourself on a scale from 1-10 (1 being seriously depressed, 10 being the happiest) and then create self-portrait expressing that state.” Today I am a 1/10 I am but a skelton with skin All exaggerated greatly due to a nasty flu and no sleep I am unlucky I’m told on a regular basis, unlucky in health, unlucky in love, unlucky in finance. All fairly major parts of life, and today when I saw this challenge and so many ‘happy artists’ I thought “OH SCREW IT” I’ll admit it, I’ll be honest. No need to call Beyond Blue for me I accept it for what it is and it makes me who I am and how I create, I live a better life through my images,my photography. A great challenge for making me dig out my charcoal, I draw child-like, silly and basic but it makes me honest. Jules PS Just an update for today 5-9-09 Lucky to be featured on redbubbles homepage and unlucky to come home from the doc’s with the diagnosis of SWINE FLU -just gets better and better LMFAO
