by~ DALE CRUM / God Loves All Humans--mankind judges each other / Human hate is based on many weak and feeble justifications-which left on their own couldn’t even crawl-much less stand vertical-the basis upon which most humans judge is external flinching due to minor variations within the species-pigmentation variants are the first to rise through the self-righteous slim of the human heart-then and closely behind are the trivial fashion differences-which are in fact fashion freedoms and rights most precious-let us not forget HAIR-and as one who has a void in this particular area (my whole bald head) and yet one who did have long hair down to the middle of my back-the length-texture-cut-and coloration of said locks does conjure up internal response from external perceptions-Judgment is such a normal part of all of our lives that cities are divided based upon these hideous infractions toward our fellow humans-however-when these occur in the name of God-it is here when the most egregious violations occur— “Come unto me--all you who labor and are heavy laden—and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28 If Jesus extended such an unqualified invitation--why then does man think it is their place to step in and qualify ANY PERSON’S approach to Him? I have been the victim of such things-outside and inside the church-before and after my believing what Jesus said and thought about me-so let me take another stand here-and now-“Jesus loves me (and you) this I know-for the Bible tells me so”….yes you too-as children we accepted this simplest of all songs-and the most honest of all songs as well-and yet upon becoming an “adult” we lose our grip on such simplistic truths-and choose to rewrite truth based on our own false perceptions of our personal “divinity”-and yet-God said “there is none righteous-no not one” “none that does good no not one…” so--there is no basis for piety and spiritual arrogance-for in the end-we are all only lumps sculpted clay-so-if we all dropped the judgment rocks in our hands at the same exact moment-well—I think it would shake our planet apart for the immensity of this horrific infraction.

There are many people who suffer turmoil in their lives. With no one to talk to or don’t happen to meet the people that care. I talk to many young people who appear to be suffering today. There seems to be a great deal of suicide amongst the young and the statistics are rising. I know it’s not a pleasant subject, but we as adults need to be aware of the young, their difficulties and be willing to support them. I myself have lost two members of my family due to suicide. It will never be pleasant and one is left with a void that will never be filled. Let’s be more vigilant amongst our family and friends, and offer support and kindness without being judgmental. The ‘barb’ that came to mind while photographing this dragonfly was “a biting critical remark”, that some humans choose to relay as pertinent, judgmental and necessary communications to share with others. In a world filled with so much verbal toxicity, I find myself sitting in the ‘middle of the fence’, so to say and constantly reminding myself that if I have nothing nice to say, I simply say nothing at all. Dragonfly ~ A key to my dreams, an eye for the truth, an ear open to spirit for messages bold, will break down illusions and transform my life, so I remake myself in a positive mold. I received a really exciting email yesterday fromt he Director of This Place asking me to Show Case some of my Religious/Political pieces of Art at their Nude Art Nite Show, I was soooooooooooooooo chuffed to be invited, only, it’s in America, which poses two major problems, one being, that I live in little ole NZ thousands of miles away and am ULTRA phobic of flying! And two being that I can’t even afford a bus ticket into Auckland City! hahaha Ah well… It was still kinda humbling to be asked, but really, I’m not into all of the commercial side of stuff and I’d find it really daunting anyway!
