  • This was originally a small acrylic painting I did on card. This is my character Alba who has a special affinity with flowers and can talk to them in their own language. These flowers are all gossiping about her as she walks past, unaware that she can understand every word they say.

  • This is part of a series that I am working on. Called morning noon and evening. My thought is to have the same background image in 3 variations showing how one place can evolve and change moods. I have reasently created a second image / / Noon

  • Images from Australia / Architecture / Images from Japan / Sunsets / Water Scenes

  • This image came about in an awesome way for me. Two weeks earlier, the model, Margrit, was telling me a bit about her life. She’s lived and travelled in many countries and taken lots of opportunities. She has also achieved great success with her photography. Several weeks later, I had an unusual chance to photograph her in an old train – the perfect location to reflect her life’s journey. / In Australia, Margrit has achieved her LAPS and AAPS, and is the only West Australian women to received international photographic honours AFIAP. She’s a perfectionist and it shines through in her work. Visit Margrit’s website For enquires about canvas prints, or photographic prints larger than Redbubble options, please contact me via bubblemail

  • Ever felt the heavy heart of saying goodbye? In love, in life, in death. Family, lovers, friends. An empty track and sad, sad heart. Whiteman Park, Swan Valley, Perth. When I found this little station, I found myself thinking of the work of two photographers: Don, an awesome photographer who loves trains! He does wonderful landscapes and other great work. He’s given me so much help over the past few years – a generous soul with a great eye for photography. Paul Louis Villani also leapt into my head. He has some incredible images of trains and train stations. While I wouldn’t even attempt to immitate his style, his work gives me so much inspiration, and got me thinking about how I would like to present this scene. My fav image of his is Still standing For enquires about canvas prints, or photographic prints larger than Redbubble options, please contact me via bubblemail

As a child, my treasured stuffed animal (as all children tend to have) was a little squirrel who went on every kind of adventure with me, and my favorite story was about a lil’ squirrel named “Miss Suzy” – written by Miriam Young, and illustrated by Arnold Lobel. I love the thought of the tiny leaf-boat capturing the attention of the denizens of the pond as it passes by en route to a wonderous place. January 10th, 2009 – WOW!! Thank you so much for the front page feature!!! I’m so delighted! If you like Columbus – you might enjoy some of my other little animal works!! / / /

  • My Website Thomas wrote a lovely poem for this image I created. Please go check out his work. / Thank you so much Tom !! :) Tracks of Life At times the tracks of our lives lead us on a path through the darkest reaches of our minds. / The mist covers the memories of moments we need to pass, let go of, move on from. / Our fears scream from the darkness, clawing at our souls, grabbing at our hearts. / If we pause we are lost. / The journey takes us through the darkness into a light filled with hope. / Rays of security fill us with warmth and / the strength to drive forward into a world bright with love Thomas Simunsen

  • My Website This is for my son and his beautiful fiance (pictured) Things Can Only Get Better You can walk my path, you can wear my shoes / Learn to talk like me and be an angel too / But maybe you ain’t never gonna feel this way / You ain’t never gonna know me, but i know you / I’m singing it now- / Things can only get better / They can only get better if we see it through- / that means me and I mean you too / So teach me now that things can only get better, / They can only get, they only get, take it on from here / You know i know that things can only get better I sometimes lose myself in me, I lose track of time / And I can’t see the wood for the trees / You set them alight / burning bridges as you’ve gone / I’m too weak to fight ya / I’ve got my personal hell to deal with, then you say / Walk my path, wear my shoes, talk like that- / I’ll be an angel then / Things can only get better / they can only get better, now i found you / Things can only get better, they can only get better, / now I found you / and you and you / You have shown me prejudice and greed / And you’ve shown me how I must learn to deal with this disease / I look at things now in a different light than I did before / And I’ve found the cause / and I think you can be my cure / So teach me to… / Walk your path, wear your shoes, talk like that, I’ll be an angel and / Things can only get better…....
