  As a continuation of the ‘chain-survey’ started by Jo O’Brien. / I have interviewed Irene Burdell that is a photographer and also paints watercolors. Heloisa – Are you surprised with the result of their own pictures? Irene – I am surprised quite often when I get a really good result , but I still get quite a few disappointments ,when I think I have captured something really well and then I download it ,it may be slightly out of focus by then the moment has gone . Heloisa – Where does it look for inspiration in their works to get her objective? Irene – As I have only been doing photography for a year now , I have got a lot of inspiration from some of the other wonderful artists on redbubble Jason Connolly for one , ,also my son who is a photographer.He has been very helpful to me and it is never too much trouble for him if I need any advice . Heloisa – Which of their works does the best consider and why? Irene – My favourite works to date are one I posted yesterday , “Sunrise at Biscarrosse” and ” Bergerac France ” the courtyard . Sunrise at Biscarrosse because I consider it to be the best sunrise picture I have ever taken and I sat for an hour waiting for the right moment . The Bergerac one because my son Darren said it was the best picture I have taken to date and I respect his judgement .

  Tuesaday / 3/18/08 6:00am / Fair is the worst thing we are taught in kindergarden. Fair is a four letter word and it screws us up for life. We should be taught from an early age that there is no organic “fairness” to life. And that to even survive we have to maximize whatever meager scraps we do possess and get over the fact that the person sitting next to us might get promoted first, might marry somebody better, and probably has a grandmother who will leave him more money. Being taught that fairness matters cripples us. It forces us to wait for the scales to be adjusted. It makes us miss opportunities we should snatch before somebody else does. And, worst of all , it sets us up for a life of deep disappoinment. Augusten Burroughs Good morning!!! Hope everyone slept well :) / Got my coffee in hand and am able to think a bit more clearly than I have lately lol… I read this blurp out of a magazine this morning and it really got my wheels turning… I mean I love Augusten , he is a very blunt author and his words are so impactive to me but he speaks from a perspective that most do not dare and I like that !!! Now I know that some of you may think that YET again I am being negative and focusing on that … well I am not …. I simply am able to see both sides of most things and like to discuss them, hear what others have to say. / I thought about this statement that he has made and I could actually think of many situations that Fairness has impaired me in some way… How quickly I have gotten upset , hurt or angry because of something seeming unfair when in reality it had nothing to do with fairness… it just was . Yes, that DOES mean I am NOT perfect ….. lol…. / Would love to hear your thoughts my sweet angels… I have to say that I am so excited to see that CAA is becomming an expected part of my day … I love to hear what you all have to share and plan on keeping it fun and inspirational but also hope to have bit of discussion as well !!!! / Gotta go wash the wings but look forward to hearing your thoughts …..... have a GREAT day ((((((((((((((((((((((((((hug)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Celena

  hi all hope you are all well and please stay that way. i will be away for at least a few days have to get my head around a few things and i think travel might be a good start . maybe get some good shot’s at the same time lol. so sorry if i don’t comment on you ‘r work but it will be at the very least viewed at some point i promase. im not after comments on this just would like to let you know that i’m away and not snubbing anyone. i have found another family here on rb whitch is fantastic….. for me i think it will help me through a lot specialy right now…...keep smilling ….......have fun …......and great some great pics ….....you’r friend ….............stu:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):).....................take care..

  You can add all you want to this project, or so I have been told! I am looking for work that will add to the depth! If you pull up the work already added, you might see what could be added, to do just that! I do not care if it’s a painting, or a drawing, or computer art, as long as it’s flowers! From singles, to a feild covered with them, or anything in between! Be sure to tag, ( flower power project screensaver )so it can be found, when I have my meeting, Thursday! Thanks for your support, your friend, Big D! / The more images I can get for the screensaver, the better the promotion of all involved, and the project! And is totally FREE, no matter what else you add! NOTE As far as adding prints, for the calloge! ( It is not a requirement), but if you want to contribute in print to the calloge, add only what you can afford! The screensaver is total FREE, and it might be be all we can do, at this point! Maybe there are some on RB, who can help build the virtual calloge, for us, and it to will be FREE, to add to at least! The final collage might become a picture, you can buy to have for your own sake, and will be added into a T-shirt as well, with all the names of the artist who freely contributed, and make the project whatever it turns out being! In my mind, its going to be Great, because of all the support, of my wonderiful friends! I would also like to have it turned into a book as well! Thats just what I dream, BIG! Can’t say, I am not from Texas! LOL But, if you can afford the ( large/tag) foamboard print, it will be even more promotion of your contribution, for this project, and still fairly cheap! A little more exposure, for as little cash needed! It will be added to the calloge just before the show, if we are able to get enough in print! / (It is only if you wish), to have more exposure, and will not effect your promotion what so ever, even if all you add is tagged, flower power project screensaver! Thanks again, Big D! I myself love FREE! But, I do think I can print out a few for promotion, but I am here too! Your friend, Big D!
