Trees . ABOUT MY EXHIBITION The woks exhibited represent the linkup of two artists, a photographer and a sculptor. Such an attempt to blend two spheres of art is really innovative and a bit unexpected. There had been few who were successful in such an attempt. Both authors, blending their art by the means of the photo art, are the winners. Sculpture, as such, is rather a static art, sometimes “performing” in a specific, sometimes artificial, environment. However, the means of the plastic photography, seemingly, make the sculptures movable, dynamic; they make you feel the sculptures are moving. They become alive, start moving and react both to the environment and the views captured by the photographer. I would like the viewers also note the colour solutions of the photos, aimed at the strengthening of the overall impression of the imagery. The original blend and overlapping of two arts let see the impressive plastic metaphors, giving birth to various associations. CLICK PHOTO IF YOU WANT VIEW

Jona is in need of help. he can no longer walk and Polio has taken its tool on his body. When I first met Jona last year I saw him crawling on his hands and knees. He uses pieces of rubber cut from a truck tyre and shapes the pieces into pads and attaches them to his hands and he also has them on his knees. / As he made his way towards me and a few mission workers, he was begging from people who just ignored him . He smelled from urine and was very weak. His mouth was dry and his body had rashes. lice was all over his head and cloths. He slept in a makeshift place under a tree just outside the small village. / Since that day we at the Mission center have been feeding him and treating his rash and wounds. He has now gained a little weight and is much better. He is at our Mission Church service each Sunday without fail and loves to sing his favourite song called “Jesus Loves me”. We always ask him to sing it each Sunday,a s It gives him so much joy. He complains if all don,t join in the chorus. I am deeply inspired with great passion by Jona and many who face extreme suffering and poverty. My desire is to help many like Jona and the many many children who are sick and disabled in isolated and rural villages in Africa. Together we can bless many. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO BLESS JONA WITH A SPECIAL ADAPTED TRIKE THAT HE CAN SIT ON AND POWER WITH HIS ARMS. IT COSTS £290 TO HAVE MADE. THIS WILL INDEED BE A REAL BLESSING TO JONA. I KNOW MANY ARE FACING FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES IN THESE TROUBLED TIMES. BUT WHATEVER YOU CAN GIVE TOWARDS JONA’S TRIKE WILL ALL ADD UP. Jonas: ECKKKKKK! / Bong & Tong: Whats wrong Jonas? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, It wont go away! Everywhere i go its there, I close my eyes, its there, I turn to the right its there, I turn to the left its there! / Bong & Tong: Whats there? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, that! It dangles in front of me like bait, i try to catch it but cant, its smarter than me! / Bong: (Bong murmurs to Tong) Thats for sure! / Tong: Giggles inaccessively! / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, stop laughing at me, its driving me crazy, what do i do? / Bong: Jonas, maybe its a part of you? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, No! it cant be, its got eyes and stares at me! / Bong: Maybe its your third eye? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, Now why would i need a third eye? / Tong: (murmurs to Bong) Tell him its a underwater flashlight for night time! Tell him! Tell him! LOL / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, Very funny Tong maybe i should have it catch you! / Jonas chasing Tong around in a circle and suddenly GULP! / Bong: Alright you two, play nice! Jonas maybe Tong’s right, its a ultra light sensitive eye mechanisim for deep sea diving? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, ya think? / Bong: Maybe dive down real quick and see what happens / Jonas: Dives down fast and swift and goes side to side and flips back around to Bong. / Jonas: YAHOO, Cool what ya know i seen stuff i never saw before down there, thanks Bong! / Bong: Your welcome Jonas, now can ya spit Tong out, I think he’s learned his lesson. / Jonas: Okay! / SPITOOY! / Tong: Great…... now I gots fish guts all over me! / Bong: When ya gonna learn Tong?! / . / Bong & Tong resumes there travels while Jonas swims off and finally stops screaming now that he has new depths to check out, and a whole new world to venture through. / . / the end…©2007 Lisa C.
