I’m a big Calvin and Hobbes fan, and this shirt was inspired by one of my favourite things about Calvin, his lucky rocketship underpants. In one of the comic strips, he asks “What’s the use of wearing your lucky rocketship underpants if no one asks to see em?” I’m here to fix that problem.

Another one from Urimburra at Victor Harbor. This peacock was so funny! He was trying to show off to the peahens but the wind was a bit breezy. So he was trying to walk backwards against the wind so his gorgeous feathers didn’t get too ruffled. Poor little guy, he was doing his best!! The girls were just watching him (as we were) and laughing at his antics. Fancy parading around in your underpants they would have been saying to each other. He’s meant to be showing off his pretty colours!!! I expect he eventually showed his feathers off, when we saw him again he had one girl and was stutting around proudly!!

It’s the hottest radio show in the world. Every morning these two hit the airwaves and bring it. The name of the show doesn’t do it justice, hopefully the design will. Girl with duct tape over her mouth and a tear sliding down her cheek doesn’t realize that this is all in good fun. Only if she looked down and saw the “Linger Longer!” / Oh yeah, Fuck the FCC.

In twelve years I’d never seen this waterfall, drove through the Akatarawa Road heading to the coast many times, never seen the waterfall, the sign says “Jock Atkins waterfall 200m” i thought it was a myth. About a month ago i had to fetch our dog from the home stay in the Akatarawas, we’d hat continuos rain for days, as I rounded a tight bend in the road there it was, a narrow gap in the bush revealed this lovely fall, I collected the dog raced home to get the camera and went back to get this. Just found a lovely tribute to Jock Atkins on the Efil Doog site, Jack died the year we came to New Zealand and its taken me 12 years to find him, thanks Jack for revealing your splendid fall to me. Taken on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm Nikkor lens
