Okay… I’ve recieved some quesstions about this shot. I took this at an airshow earlier in the year. The announcer warned the crowed that the plane was going to do a high speed pass approaching the sound barrier to create the cone effect (which appears just before breaking the speed of sound). Yes… it was very difficult to focus and pan to get this shot. Luckily, I managed to keep it in the frame. My equipment: Canon EOS 5D with 100-400L zoom. Thanks for your comments.

Picture taken during the urban move festival in Manchester. / It was really hot that day (at last!!), and the dancers had a part of their performance in piccadilly gardens fountain. As they reached the fountain, the water started springing and all the kids rushed around them, oblivious that it was now a stage, and screamed and ran around the dancers who kept on dancing as if nothing was! “Urban moves” was featured in the group Art North West

Lil Formers is a parody comic strip created, written, drawn, inked and coloured by me, Matt Moylan. It started off poking fun at all aspects of Hasbro’s Transformers mega-property (hence the ‘Formers’ in the title). Strips #1 to 100 are all TF-centric, but now with Strip #101 onward, I’m expanding the scope of things to cover all geeky, pop culture properties. 09:37 Sunday morning. The static display of the F-22 Raptor is just screaming to be photographed. Decided to break a few rules here and only took a shot of the F-22’s office. What an incredible plane! The flight demo later on was just stunning as usual. Taken at the 2009 Airpower Over Hampton Roads Airshow at Langley Air Force Base, VA. I just love the lighting in this shot.
