When i was a child… every year we would take our vacation trip from mich. to miss to see relatives…on the way we would see these barns everywhere with ads on them…”see seven states from rock city” but my Dad would never take us to see it!! / So when we moved here that was one of the first places Bob and i saw on one of our road trips…i then wanted to take photos of all of the old barns and make a photo book of them,,, / sigh,,,someone allready did it! and…most of the barns have now disappeared as a past era. This one still remains in Rogersville, Al on hwy 72 / not one of my greatest pics, will be stopping again to update it!

this place amazed me…usually a house like this will be covered with overgrown grass and falling apart….although this one wasfalling apart, the grass wa finely manicured and there was aa little kept garden in the back complete with red tomatoes! / again, tenn highway / aug 20, 2008

I save this beautiful LadyBug from a drowning in the kiddies pool one day last summer. And for my kindness she let me do a photo shoot with her as the star! lol lol . I really love the look on her face in this photo . She was running her legg across her head as if to say wow I almost died just then !!!!! Thank you very much Kind lady for saving my life!! This was a small Indian Shelter that was in the side of the mountains going up to the Carlsbad Caverns. It is a small cave like opening that was used by the Indians to stay out of the weather . This is a close-up capture to show the texture and colors of the rock . The bottem of the picture is where it sunk back into the mountain. / They had many different little stops on the drive up the Mountain , This one was simply called “Indian Shelter”. This was taken on the drive up to the Cavens in Carlsbad, New Mexico with a Panasonic FZ50. Awash

This is a Red Velvet Queen Sunflower from my garden . This is the very first bloom of the bunch ! I have been waiting for what seems like forever for these to grow and start flowering..lol lol ! As soon as the first one started to open up I started taking photos of it . They are as beautiful if not more then what it showed on the seed package. Now I am still waiting on the Mexican Sunflower to start blooming and hope it will be just as beautiful !! I decided to work on more of the boneyard series. / These were taken out at my Aunt Maryann’s Farm , a place she Loved with all her heart! This whole series has been done in the ,Loving Memory of my Aunt whom lost her long and brave fight with cancer a little over a year ago! and I have done this series in her Honor !! May she rest in Peace now! This was taken in Lampasas, Texas with a Kodak 753 I did texture with a timeline effect on this image in Corel software.
