  • Fractal Explorer. PP’d in PI and PSP. Night on the Moss / cleansing water rises / Trapping, embracing. / Creatures of The Moss / like fireflies / dancing / Mischief makers / all / Sharp sticks / to poke and trip / Sharp teeth / To bite and rip / Preventing / routes / to safety / Drowning in / cleansing waters.

  • Fractal Explorer. You don’t hear me? / I called and called / The air so sharp / to my throat / a jagged shard / that slipped / effortlessly / down into / my heart / and bit deep / thick copper taste / and Salt. / The path / you took / is broken and / my power to heal / fades fast. / Please wait for me.

  • Pure fractal. Fractal Explorer. Reminder1 formula. A word of appreciation to all the lovely people who have made me welcome at Red Bubble. Considering the huge size and diversity of Groups, the out and out friendliness and generosity of all who have made time to comment just takes my breath away. A big big thankyou:-)

  • Fractal Explorer Generalised Phoenix II / Thankyou:-)

  • Fractal Gen Mandel Newton IV. pure fractal. A memory. / When we were childre, we lived in fear of “The Parky”. A man in uniform and a peaked cap who carried a sack and a pointed stick. He made sure we kept off the grass in our local park. We used to make sure he wasn’t round the next corner and do roly polys down the steep slopes. He always found us, and would chase us off, and racing away, hearts beating fast, he’d be shouting “I know you and I know where you live. I’ll tell your parents!” I don’t think he ever did, but the very fact that he had said it was enough to scare us off for the day. Grass was a luxury in the 40’s as most gardens had been made into vegetable patches and runs for rabbits, ducks and hens.

  • Fractal Explorer. Gen Newton IV formula. Pure fractal – oops I fib – I touched it briefly with Flaming Pear lacquer. Daydreaming – now there’s a thing I am very good at / Asleep dreaming, quite good at that too / I just wish I could remember what I dreamt half the time / Once I used to write down what I could remember / but – nonsensical was the result most of the time. / Funny but the bad ones, like flying through space at the speed of light, and that something big can fly as fast as me,stay in the mind longer.

  • Pure Fractal Fractal Explorer. Gen Newton IV formula. Dedication Dedicated to a very dear and generous hearted man, who has made time for me and my daft questions since I joined Red Bubble. Butch is a true Artist with soul. One of the best. So glad you are my friend Butch.

  • Fractal Explorer. Pure fractal. Formula Gen Newton IV. The Peacock is an enigma to me. A magical and enchanted bird, he has been woven into stories for hundreds of years. I have often wondered why his tail feathers are so magnificent, enormous and such a drag for him. Maybe it is Nature’s gift to us as well to be able to enjoy his splendour. Well, mine is a poor imitation, but you get the gist?

  • Fractal Explorer Gen Newton IV formula. / I listen to the shipping forecast most lunch times; yes, I am sad, but hearing the names of the shipping areas around the coast of Great Britain make me thankful to the brave men who put to sea in fishing boats in very difficult conditions to put food on our table. Here’s to them.

  • Fractal Explorer. Gen Newton IV formula. I like the swirling noise found in this formula and the fantastic variations of palette. I added a touch of lacquer in PSP hoping it would highlight parts.

  • Fractal Explorer Talis var.I Pure fractal. Sharpen, unsharp mask and sign in PSP. There are many nights of mischief in our calendar but I think the one that appeals most to the little ones is coming up shortly. Let’s hope the mischief is to be innocent pranks:-)

  • Prometheus was the son of Iapetos and Klymene. He tricked the godswith false sacrifice. He stole the sacred fire from Zeus and the gods and, taking pity on the primitive mortals in their caves, gave it to them. Zeus did not punish Prometheus alone, he punished the entire world for the effrontery of this rebel god. The gift of divine fire unleashed a flood of inventiveness, productivity and, most of all, respect for the immortal gods in the rapidly developing mortals. Within no time (by Immortal standards), culture, art, and literacy permeated the land around Mount Olympos. When Zeus realized the deception that Prometheus had fostered, he was furious. He had Hephaestus shackle Prometheus to the side of a crag, high in the Caucasus mountains. There Prometheus would hang until the fury of Zeus subsided. Each day, Prometheus would be tormented by Zeus’ eagle as it tore at his immortal flesh and tried to devour his liver. Each night, as the frost bit it’s way into his sleep, the torn flesh would mend so the eagle could begin anew at the first touch of Eos (the Dawn).

  • However pleasant it is in your own garden, who doesn’t feel the benefit of a walk in the park, under huge spreading Oaks, Ash, Silver Birch and Beech, especially this time of the year. The fallen leaves, in glorious technicolour and still damp, have a soft silky feel to them. Tomorrow, if it is a dry day, they will wrinkle and wither and crumble away to fine dust and fall back to earth to feed the next generations in Springtime renewal. FE JT 11 Birdy formula. Re-sized and brightness and contrast in PI. A little pp and sign. in PSP

  • Remembrance Day 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. In Flanders’ Fields / John McCrae, 1915 In Flanders’ fields the poppies blow / Between the crosses, row on row, / That mark our place: and in the sky / The larks, still bravely singing, fly / Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the dead. Short days ago / We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, / Loved and were loved, and now we lie / In Flanders’ fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe; / To you from failing hands we throw / The torch; be yours to hold it high, / If ye break faith with us who die / We shall not sleep, though poppies grow / In Flanders’ Fields. In perpetual love for the Grandfather I never knew, but whose blood flows strongly through my veins, the same blood that was spilt in the name of freedom for us all at Posieres in March 1918 FE Talis varI formula. Poppy inserted in PI

  • Fe Polinomial set 2 formula All have a good weekend. / It’s quite warm and wet here this morning, so, on with the wellies which are on permanent standby , on with the waterproofs and out we go for our morning walk. I can see about 15 or 16 Goldfinches hopping about outide. We had four feeders in the plum tree containing Niger seed. Sadly, the local bad boy Sparrowhawk had started to use the finches as his starter portions for the day’s feasting; easy targets. So the feeders had to come down. I don’t know what the solution is. They will need a helping hand in the coming months if it gets really cold.

  • FE Noel Giffin ZZ2 formula. It came up round but I made it into a bubble in PSP. It reminded me of a crystal ball and the view of a deep pool reflecting flowers, country lanes, and the many many thoughts that appear to come alive when you are quiet and still and gazing into the water.

  • Fractal Explorer Sally Hunter 1 formula / Postwork in PI We’re all travellers aren’t we? Different landscapes, different worlds, but ultimately all our journeys have a shared destination. As on a train, some look out of the window, others read, others talk, do crosswords, listen to music, work on laptops, all in their own little personal landscapes. I’m a looker out of the windows, watching and catching skies and fields, woods and rivers as the speed picks up, storing colours, shapes, lights and darks, imagining life in houses backing on to the tracks, children at play, washing flapping, gardens being tended. The world turning as she always has, despite all.

  • Fractal Explorer. Formula BWP 17. I did not see the shells until I added a touch of lacquer. / Thankyou for viewing. / I wish you all a good weekend:-)

  • Fractal Explorer Sterlingware formula. / z=z – ((z5 + z4 – z3 * zsin + c)/(5z4 + 4z^3 – 2z*zzcos + c)) Thankyou for viewing. / Poor little thing – someone impaled him. Vlad maybe?

  • Promises On paper? / Not worth the price / of broken dreams. / They can’t be portioned, / cut, neatly sliced, / don’t keep well. / Your sharp knife blunted / with frequent use. / Step this way / I too sell promises. / No knife here. / I break them, they snap / easily enough. / They bleed longer, / deeper / than paper cuts / How many would you like now? Fractal Explorer Gen Newton IV formula.

  • Fractal Explorer Gen Newton IV formula. This reminds me of babies ears, soft, pink and shell like.

  • Self Portrait On A Good Day Share my joy / Share my day / Portion me / piece by piece, / Careful now / One to cut and / One to choose. / Is that so / difficult? / I have many faces / one for each of you, / all kind, loving. / My soul fractured, / splintered deep; / but what an act / to follow. / I surpass myself.

  • FE Talis var I / Two images- one fractal and one photograph merged in textures section of FE. / Thankyou. / This time, the moon almost made it, for the madness had not entirely taken over. She watched the hares play boxing, having their meeting and pairing off and realised she must join forces with the Sun to make day or the west wind would exchange views with a North Easterly and wash out the seeds she had planted in their minds eye. In the meantime, mankind stoked its chimneys, polluted the airways, choked the rivers and continued to eat its way out of this world and into the next as quickly as possible.

  • FE Talis varI formula. Flood Flaming Pear.
