‘Tis the time of the year to bring out the Jellybeans! My family was introduced to fruit pectin jellybeans about 18 years ago by a friend of the family. We used to get them by the bagfuls at Woolworth’s for less than $1.00 a piece. When Woolworth’s went out of business we had a terrible time finding the wonderful jellybeans that we loved so much. Then one day, one of my kids was at Snyder’s Drug Store and found the jellybeans that we had been looking for! They’re called “Just Born” and are made by the same company that makes “Peeps”. (They also make Mike and Ikes). But then Snyder’s discontinued buying Just Born jellybeans so we were out of luck again. So I Googled them on the computer and was able to find several places that sold them. We buy 10 to 12 pounds of jellybeans per Easter season and never have any left within a few weeks of Easter being past! Since I hadn’t received the Just Born jellybeans in time to take this photo, I had to buy another brand! / This photo was featured in the group: “Sweet Tooth” on 4-13-09.

This is my new charge called ‘Jellybean’. He is a baby rabbit and is only 8 days old. His mum (my pet Bella, whom I have photos in my portfolio) died on Sunday night after an infection from giving birth. I took her to the vet and got some medicine but it was too late. :( so now Jellybean relies on me for warmth and a feed every 2 1/2 hours, day and night! So far so good, he is at this moment sitting under my shirt against my belly… quite a funny feeling… :) / Nikon D80 / Nikkor 60mm Micro lens /
