Jelly fish make an interesting pattern
Photograph was taken at Osaka aquarium during my visit to Japan in 2006 . I used a Nikon D70 and a 50mm 1.4 lens. Camera set in apperture priority at F2.0. Shutter speed 1/40. There was quite strong overhead lighting in the tank. Focus was difficult because the tank was a round shape. I took quite a few shots but this one was the most appealing in terms of the way the jellies lined up. Credit is also to Sophie who was waiting patiently as I was taking the 100’s of photographs over three hours at the aquarium. She did well – and kept her complaining to a minimum because she could see that I was enjoying myself. Must be love
Taken at the Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN. This shot won an honorable mention at the Indiana Sate Fair in my first ever competition. As requested here are the numbers for this image….. Canon Rebel Xt / ISO 400 / Shutter 1/15 / Aperture f4 / 28mm focal length / Handheld

The perfect couple. Jam and Toast.
This was inspired by an online bumpersticker I saw… I reworded the phrase though and changed the random object. Might make more, depending on how well this one is recieved. More formal and honest feedback is apprecited…. I’m a big boy, I can handle it. EDIT: There’s also a new, Mid-sized version available now if this one is too big for you. You can see it right here
Hey everybody…. As requested by a few, this is the reduced version of the Angry Jellyfish shirt. The design is almost the same, except I did move some text slightly so it looked centered, as it didnt before after the shrinkage. Hope this helps!! The original version can be seen here / Richards

I got totally carried away and lost all perspective with this one. My poor old computer nearly melted. I have no idea what level of detail will make it onto the T-shirt. If anyone buys one, please bubble booth it so I can see. I think I’ll upload it as wall-art when I’ve got over my jelly induced migraine. / Here is the colour version /
In my ongoing mission to ‘get the hang of vectors’, I came up with this. It’s an attempt to give my 2D medusa some depth. I also wanted to play with the fear (is it just me?) of looking down and everything dropping away into darkness. / / At this point I’m still finding out what’s possible and surprising myself along the way / …The biggest surprise was the eight hours it took my (shonky) computer to turn it into a bit-map. / /
Once again resizing, for the record this was taken at Jellyfish Lake,Palau,Micronesia / © All images copyright MattTworkowski 2008

I created this artwork with two of my fractal designs and the tools/filters of two different graphic programs. I hope you like the outcome. / /

This was inspired by a Simon & Garfunkle song, Punky’s Dilemma. A very amusing song, I think. :) Just for general information, I didn’t draw/create the jam jar. I don’t remember where I got it, though. :( If anyone knows the origin of it, I’ll be happy to give them credit. :)

Shot at Makara Beach, west coast of lower North Island, New Zealand, I need to go back to this location, the smooth pebbles in the foreground are like jelly beans, this will make a great low level shot. Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm lens, with Cokin ND8 grad filter. / Got da Makara Blues / Jelly Bean Rumble at Dusk
