He’s an American Marine, and he’s in battle, and he carries his camera with him….to everyone’s benefit. These are extraordinary photographs and well worth viewing and commenting on. And it’s a ‘real time’ view from the front lines. How incredible that is to me. / This is primo photo-journalism, picture-taking on the run. / Although I’m not a photographer, I know there are interesting things being done by SSGT with the kind of camera he uses, exposures, etc. It’s serious work, all very human, history in the making. / Please drop in and see yourselves. / Best to all, / Barbara

This 4×4 was in for repairs and some more customization at the shop next door so I had a few minutes to take a couple of shots. I saw a lot of these trucks up on Okanagan Mountain a couple of weeks ago and they are quite common in the mountains around the Okanagan at pretty much any time of the year. Photo was taken at M&H Auto Sales in Kelowna, B.C., March 3, 2009
