Its an attempt to portray Britney Spears recent experience as if she were telling it. Beyond the shadows of the paparazzi is a trail of blurred images representing the consuming of her soul. The globe above her head is a symbol of her connection with the world as a celebrity and the burden she carries as it turns. She is portrayed dull and lifeless as lightening green strings attached to her and the paparazzi lead to her ex husband Kevin. He is the pupeteer in her life. The flames represent his anger and the green mist his jealousy of her status. Above his shoulders are their children locked away from Britney.

A Digital Painting done entirely in ArtRage, using my tablet. This – as the previously uploaded image – are older works of mine. I called this jealousy first.. but did not like the title.. it does not reflect what i am trying to show in this image. so.. i changed the title to.. the silent watcher.. yes.. he IS jealous.. and his jealousy has caused her to do exactly that what he has feared all along… he pusher ‘her’ away from him.. with his jealous heart.. and now he sees his worst fears confirmed… not realizing that he himself is the cause….. he dies a silent, inner death…..

This is basically about mistrust. / Cause, isn´t mistrust a way of being in war with someone else? / I took the inspiration for this image from Carole King´s “Being At War With Each Other” amazing composition. / Here´s the link to Carole´s original recording of this song. / And here´s the link to Barbra Streisand´s version.
