This is another shot taken in Pakistan capturing the beauty that is created by the hands of the people. Here you see a man’s hands forming a bowl identical to the tens and twenties he has already created that morning. What you don’t see is that he sits on a flat rock on the floor surrounded by sand and gravel under a tattered tent shielding him from the blistering heat. But these conditions do not effect the perfection of his craft. In the hour I spent with him, never did a bowl turn out to be anything other than what he expected, perfect.
This was taken early one foggy and soggy morning in Colorado as the sun rose to shine through the dewdrops. Another trip into the ditch and several odd stares by early-morning hikers…but it is so worth it. :) “Please see my Etsy listing for this image – and purchase a pearlescent metallic print of this photograph.:http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19111932 This wonderful treasure is one of several taken that morning. Another photograph taken in Iran, Inside one of the mosques was a wall with a star inspired design carbed into the brown clay wall. The design so intricate, so masterfully carved. It really was a beautiful sight.

Color, wrinkles, nails, veins, slenderness, length, so many things make up a hand, so many characteristics. Each hand differnt from the last, each hand with it’s own personality, with it’s own story. This hand is of a janitorial woman working in my college. She was taking a break, resting her hand and taking a breath, some peace from her otherwise tiresome day. The contrast of the color of her skin and her clothes, the position and placement of her hand, her posture, everything came together to make this an ordinary yet interesting shot. /
Perhaps it is a cliched photograph. But I couldn’t resist. Also taken in North Carolina: / A Sandy Stairway To Heaven / Rhapsody In Blue / A Show For One /
This artwork was featured by RB groups: / Chocoholics Anonymous / Fractal Perception / This Limited Edition artwork and others are available at: / MY GALLERY Blue Ribbon award winner; “Best of Show”! / This piece won the 2008 Annual Fine Art Show at the downtown Historical DIstrict’s Heritage Museum; a juried art show with over 120 pieces. / Also featured on a major art website as the “Art of the Day”, featured in various blogs, etc. This unique work is full of swirls of a mixture of dark chocolate and caramel nougat! It screams of hidden delights of various kinds of nuts – almonds & macadamia? What else waits to tempt the taste buds & and satisfy that sweet chocolate craving? I love this art! I want to taste it now! But not eveyone sees what I see! Some think it looks like metal, some as if you are peering out from inside of amber, and some see chocolate and honey. What do think it represents? Art by Kinnally What is a Giclee print? / (or “giclée”)
Taken on a recent trip to Colorado’s Winter Park. I love the delicate bit of web clinging to the bud…I didn’t even notice it till I crouched down by the trail to take the picture.

A charming array of tiny wildflowers on the forest floor is given a duotone treatment. It reminds me a bit of star trails in astrophotography.
This old gum was screaming out to get my attention with the rust coloured sap which has “bled” from within the trunk over time. / There is also the “scribbles” on the trunk caused by a grub which burrows under the bark which made me want to look at it closer. Taken along the bushwalking trails which back on to the sporting fields in Sydney’s Hills district.
Another from the laneways of Brunswick. I set the dogs off taking these photos and ended up explaining to the neighbours why I was lurking behind their house taking photos. These were the same neighbours I begged for their dilapidated corrugated iron earlier this year. Now they’re SURE I’m mad! We were in Maine, at the Jordan Pond, a beautiful sight, the trees ablaze with the beautiful fall colors. Around the pond was a patch of these flower like plants, they may have once been hydrated and in bloom but i couldn’t imagine them more lovely than they were now, dry and brown. /
When touring Iran I found one of the places we visited was made up of twenty wood pillars. From afar they look like twenty boring wooden planks but when i came close they all had these beautiful swirly carvings on it. / /
