  Some people take so much that they leave you with nothing. Emotions become caged in self defence and have to be slowly freed. Once we get to the stage where we realise what has happened, we can surround ourselves with the people that truly matter to us. We can finally be ourselves and accept that we must move on. / I made this for my Abeona crew, and for myself. Maybe we’re not so different after all….   Ok, I decided to create ME…so…this is me….At 22 I first heard this song and it’s been by my side for 15 years. It’s got me through some shit….the lyrics say it all. There are many sides to me. I’m not religious but I have faith…..I have a wicked side, I can show love and compassion but, yes, there’s an edge and yes, there’s a little attitude…...lol. I hope you like….. Awakening my eyes to see, flight, my thoughts… / These: / The woman rising up from the sea of wax arms reaching for the sky. / The colors after a storm, / Flowers dancing, / The view from the top of a mountain, curves of the body, / Touching worlds with my eyes, / Why I laugh and then start to cry, / Only to laugh again! / Seeing the lines of the world in waves, / Or the colors of the skins we wear / Feeling a connection between the artist and these eyes / That see. / So in my opinion, Art is life. / Of all before and ever after…. This is the only photo I could find where there wasnt a bunch of people hanging off it. standard on the 350 is GPS, DVD, (black) leather fit out, floor mats etc. a bunch of airbags stability stuff and abs stuff ok so the list of options we got are heated seats / harmon kardon surround 7 / automatic adjustable seats with 3 settings / heated neck scarfs / automatic mirrors / woodgrain / black leather interior / phone stuff / special spoked wheels / auto windscreen wipers / toughened wind break screen / SLK boot bag on wheels ............its all good!

  Gentle Strength

  I made a decision today not to let current circumstances annoy me, or make me bitter. A little sadness, yes, but no anger. I realised that I haven’t spent the last 8 months working on my mind for someone to take it all away. I won’t let them do that. / I also think it’s important to practice what I preach and therefore, for the sake of the Abeona Crew, I’m going to walk away from them with a smile and fond memories. I’ll look to the next step of my journey and be content with the fact that I came out of this the better person. / Hopefully, they will all see that it takes more strength to do that and follow my example in their own lives. Anyone can shout, anyone can be ‘nasty’. Gentle strength takes a lot more practice….

  ALL profit will go to the flipzfoundation which will officially be launched on Dec 6th to support rural women with Cancer & the ultimate goal of the foundation is to support all adults who live in rural areas with Cancer & or Mental Illness with the basic necesseities such as, hooking up with local registered volunteers, recieving vouchers of all kinds especially food & cooked meals or someone to teach husbands to cook! Link people up with all available services financial advisors physio’s Garden services, Dieticians etc all in one basket delivered to their door by volunteer or nurse. These baskets would take so much pressure off families who’s lives are about to be turned upside down & inside out. l believe country towns can take care of themselves for the most part they just need to be linked up properly & respected in limitations or capabilities to give & the government need to come to the party & support those who want to support each other. / This Calander will go up for Auction at my Art Show on Dec 6th & l promise to let you know how well it goes. Over the past 3 weeks l am proud to say no one has knocked this Bold lady back & l have raised in way of raffles donations sponsorship & the Sales of my work almost $12,000 & l couldn’t do it without the beautiful warm & caring hearts just like those who have donated their masterpieces to this Calander. l just WISH l could hug everyone of you who have helped me along the way XXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOO / Oh l almost forgot l even had MP Mr Ben Hardmen visit me last week & he listened to everything l had to say & will approach the Minister for Grants to see how the Government can help the flipzfoundation !   I Am Not My Hair

  I thought long and hard about doing this. / This is me….the first picture of me with a full head of hair for 20 years. For that length of time I have had alopecia, an auto immune disorder which destroys the hair follicles. I am not completely bald but have diffused hairloss. / Recently, I decided to wear wigs and yes, I feel comfortable in front of a mirror again and am happy for my photograph to be taken, however it is taking time to get used to. Hair is a hassle! I wanted to post this to raise awareness of alopecia, for those who decide to wear hair replacements and for those amazing women, and men, who decide to go natural and face the world looking beautifully bald. Hair is an accessory – it does NOT define us. It doesn’t make us who we are or give us the spirits we have. Wigs haven’t changed me – I have the same smile, the same outlook and the same personality. I am not ‘fixed’, and I still have alopecia – I just look a little more acceptable to society. So, please, the next time you see someone with hairloss or who is completely bald, whether they are male or female – don’t stare, don’t laugh or whisper behind their back.
