...There is a park not far from where I live. I was walking through it one day and I noticed a little door like shape in the truck of a tree, so the next day I went back and embellished…just a little :)

Collaboration between myself and Dabble (she’s AWESOME) Model: Jasmine This is the fourth in a series between Dabble and I depicting words through photographs. / We wanted to do this in a way that could be silly and fun yet still hold an element of seriousness and hopefully we have portrayed this. / The chosen word for this image is Fear.

Gorgeous Jasmine
I can almost get drunk on jasmine smell …
Jasmine flowers are white, but it seems as if they ought to be purple…anyway, Jasmine tea smells really flowery.
Some things are just irresistable to anyone or ‘anything’ ;-) Hehe, just a bit of fun on a snowy winter’s day indoors… Description for DAC: I opened a fresh PS3 transparent document and placed my layer containing the Takamine guitar, which was isolated out of its original picture by selective erasing. Next, I opened up my photo I shot of a snake a few years back (God knows I almost stepped on the poor buggar prior to shooting his picture!). I duplicated Mr. Snake to brighten him up a tad, and then ‘Merged Layers’ on the two snakes and erased any leftover edges around him. I then chose the “Screen” blending mode in the Layers Palette. Next, I added another new layer and filled it with black and placed it under the guitar and the snake layers so as to create a nice flat, black ground. I then selected both the snake and the guitar layers and did some last minute scaling (pardon the pun), and made them fit the ground a bit better and then rotated to give a diagonal look to this rather unique still life! ;-) I flattened the image (much to the chagrin of the snake), and voila…one Dangerous Takamine…

Yes the jasmine is blooming and sometimes you just need to write the damn dream down.

Tea and Corsets 2 Where the title comes from
I love nature, and often meditate, the fragrance from my garden now in bloom, lush with brilliant white Jasmine’s fill the air with a luring scent, I picked a small branch off and decided it was time to reflect their true beauty and try to capture their fragrance by way of using the macro lens and experiment with a natural light source from a simple television screen as the backdrop. This is the end result straight from the camera. I hope you like this. the story goes.. that friendships develop over the the simple things. as I was loading this flower that I worked on. it is from my jasmine tree. I was struggling with the words to say… and decide not to publicize it… ♥.. the next minute i go to visit .. patty jo . also known as shadowdancer ..and I read these words that you see here…. i was hooked into the moment of being connected with her poem and with her whom I am getting to know through these magical moments in the red bubble.. here is her poem called My Fragile Flowered Heart thankyou Patty Jo, for letting me place this poem so beautiful here. Like the angel-white petals / of a Jasmine turn towards / the scent of the golden rays / of her sun, I turn to you. / See how her virgin foliage / twists and turns its body / from the cold-hearted shadows / to face anything resembling / the heated fury of her life giver. / I too, feel the pull and stretch / of my existence teetering on / a breaking point. / If you do not quickly cover my / mouth with yours / and allow my green heart / to bask in your glow, your heat, / and bring energy to my anther, / I fear my delicate petals shall / blacken and be blown away / into a nothingness where / memories only once existed. / They shall return to the dry earth / where my flowers were once birthed / in fairy tale dreams, / like a myth that never was / and never should have been.
