Having ventured into the Valley of the Unicorns, our heroine is caught by Shadowmere- one of the leaders of the Unicorns of the valley. This is an older drawing from 3-4 years ago I recently retouched. and it’s still when I drew 4-digit hands on my elf characters. Pencil and Photoshop These are actually characters from a novel I am writing. While the story is a fantasy story, I am writing certain ideals and precepts from Christian faith into the fabric of the story – actions and consequences, the question of whether to Believe or not, some of the things woven into the fabric of the story. Even “fantasy” characters have some issues to weigh!

Arrestes? Mychelle Blackthourne journeys with her best friend Nyrva Dragonrhyne as they head east into Oslaania to find the remnant of Nyrva’s lost elf clan, the Dragon River Elves (aka “Dragonrhyne”) After having left the Valley of the Unicorns, Nyrva finds Mychelle in the city of Dragonrhyne, named for Nyrva’s ancestors who led a revolt against Archanian oppressors centuries before – and they head east towards the mountains to find an obscure village, said to be home to the remnant of Nyrva’s long lost Elf Clan. The two women are apprehended outside the stone walls of the small village! To be continued… composition: Pencil and Photoshop for both characters and the background. This is the first of many scenes to come with multiple characters in a scene rather than my previous focus on just doing character drawings of single characters that had nothing to do with my story.
