This past week I have once again been given the opportunity to choose…..to walk in silence within the boundaries that someone else has created….or to listen to my Heart…..to speak my Truth…..and to be who I truly Am….. As I was pondering over this, one morning I opened the kitchen blinds, and there, shining so brightly on the house behind us, through the fence, was a beautiful image that the Sun was presenting to me…..I knew at that moment that it was my day to Lead with my Heart…..and that I did….and my Heart now flies free of limitations once again….every day and every moment we have a choice…. Thought I’d do some pre-dawn water shots, so got up at 4.30 am, drove to Jan Juc (only 15 mins from my place at that hour). There was a howling wind, the tide was about as high as it can go, no sand or beach accessible – nothing happening for good time lapse photography! On the eve of my 55th birthday, I am thinking about the world we live in…how it is….how it can be…. Our Native American Ancestors had a code for living….one that feels in balance to me….this was their way: ‘Treat the Earth and all that dwell thereon with respect. Remain close to the Great Spirit. Show great respect for your fellow beings. Work together for the benefit of all Mankind. Give assistance and kindness wherever needed. Do what you know to be right. Look after the well being of mind and body. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good. Be truthful and honest at all times. Take full responsibility for your actions.’ Seems to me this is a pathway to a peaceful existence….and that peace is my vision for this planet….for all of us. And so it is.
