Happy Halloween I guess ;c) Shot this with an analogue SLR (Canon EOS 33) and a DIgital Lense to it (so the lenses make this black frame as they’re too small for full format) ... Kinda experimental, but like how it came out… The Black and White film by the way has run out of date for 5 years ;c) Thus it’s a bit washed out, but I kinda like the effect, too :D
It’s that time of year again…a…aa…achoo! ;-)
WTF?? (what the fungus??...) / GALLS as it turns out… This makes me itch. I don’t mean touching it…. because I sure didn’t… but it makes me itch just to look at it.. I’m all itchy trying to type this. Some stuff is just so durn icky-poo. Some fancy new way to be a tree? And no… I don’t know what kind of tree, either… it’s the woods… could be anything, fer crissake. LavenderMoon~

The dreaded Hairy Caterpillar makes his way along tip to tail with his mates to a new area making a long unbroken trail…unfortunately for these guys they decided to make their trail across my driveway…..bad move. My daughter Alex, 9 took this photo before I had to run them over…. (felt terrible, really) Itchy Hairy caterpillars are renowned in North Queensland as horrible pests that itch you and leave big sore, itchy welts on your skin when you don’t even have to touch them, just working in the yard is enough, their hairy spores are in the air near a nest, usually in a tree. / I have a Hairy Caterpillar nests uploaded too so you know to keep right away from one if you see them… / Here is one of them just in Card format /
The 3rd and last image of the Itchy Caterpillar Life. Here is the Itchy Caterpillar nest. This tree is outside my front gate, thankfully… Here’s a close up of the caterpillars in the webbed nest, this one is Itchy, Hairy Caterpillar Nest / This is at Ravenshoe, Nth Queensland, Australia.
Definitely a tee for my husband
It might be a dirty great mess sometimes, but embroidery is really really nice. I’ve had a few things done in the past, one ridiculously complex faux hockey top and a few hats – nothing is ever really what you want it to be though because of the dreaded thread count. This, of course, is not embroided ;)
