This ACEO / miniature art was completed in coloured pencil and ink on drafting film. The reference photo for this artwork was taken by Simon.Monk (flickr creative commons) and was used with his kind permission. I have always had a fascination for the mystique and beauty of the Venetian Carnivale Masks and, in particular, the Jester masks and would like to do a series of artworks on this fascinating theme. This particular artwork will be the subject of a tutorial on coloured pencil and ink drawing on drafting film on my website at http://www.miniatureartbykhull.com/tutorial_ii_21.html.

Oh dear, I’m getting broody for the Italian Dolomites today, but fortunately I’ll be back there in 2 weeks time… This is the south side of the Sella Massif as seen from the the top of Marmolada Cable Car Station. I’m hoping to get up there in better weather, one day…and you see that green mountain in the middle – well that’s where some of my marmot relatives “hang out” as Jay would say! What a view, eh??? I’ve never suggested you view larger, but since this is a pano crop, it might be nice…. ;o)

They destroy anyone who attempts to overthrow them, or resist their authority and, at Caius’ insistence, have hunted werewolves (true werewolves, not shape-shifters) to near extinction in Europe and Asia.

Greece and Greek people are famous for their creativity, for their artistic mood, their lovely artistic handycraft, especially jewelery…They have an artistic way of arranging shopwindows and other stuff…as u can notice by this shot… U are wondering WHAT ARE THESE HANGING STUFF, I guess… ....THEY ARE… CHOPPED OCTOPUS!...as U can see down below Greek people use to chop octopus and to hang their tentacles dow to let the dry…and to eat them… It’s a Greek habit, especially on the Islands and it’s not so easy to find, so I was so lucky finding them!
