More art than photo, really… took this in a near-whiteout at Perisher, and extracted the main tree by massively increasing contrast and levels. Hence the slight fuzziness, hence the large drop-off in detail behind the tree, and hence (I think) the rather pleasing effect!

This adventure can be in the sense of reality or in spiritual world. / Depression sufferers escape from facts, hallucinates escape from reality, psychotics and neurotics escape from many other forms of life. We usually state that they are people who require help so that they can live an ordinary life. But who is to decide what is normal and what is abnormal? If ones can see the other side of horizon, according to them they deem the facts strongly that they hold about life, oneself and reality. They believe they are the right ones who are amongst wrong people. Are you one of them? I tend to assume we all are, one way or another. This is a traditional 18th Century farmhouse situated in Mid Wales UK. / The three doorways on the right, were access for the livestock, they occupied that half of the building, the farmer and his family lived in the other half ….... / The property is situated a mile from the main road, along a beautiful valley, where salmon fight against the river to spawn further up …...... This was opened in PhotoArtMaster and altered in 5 layers. / That image was imported into Photoshop. / After several adjustment layers, I was happy …..... I wonder who it was that left this beautiful old car behind in the middle of no where? This mystery is what I love about these old wrecks, so many bits and pieces taken from the old girl, maybe to help another breakdown get going again? This beautiful wreck was about 50 klms out of Mildura, on the way to Mungo National Park, on the unsealed and rough road. Canon 50D, 15mm. Available large, and best viewed large!

I did this for my husband but also for anyone who is carrying the load as the provider/caregiver of a family. It can be a daunting task and you can feel all alone in the endeavor, but you keep on no matter what, out of the love that is bigger than yourself.

Was debating as whether or not to put this up as it felt a bit cheeky but it is an important image within my school series. This one was conceived as an idea about bullying. Thankfully I wasn’t bullied physically but I know people who were and it is terrible – it is one of my worse fears for my children too. I wanted to portray the isolation, betrayal and loneliness a child feels when they are bullied.
