  • Eilean Donan Castle
    by Craig Goldsmith

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Eilean Doan Castle one of the Iconic Scotish Castles was just a magic place to visit and photograph. I spent close to 6 hours taking in the surrounds, the atmosphere and the serenity and of course the odd photo or two. Here is one of my favourites, I really like the balance of light and the reflections. I hope you like it too.

  • Island in the Storm
    by DawsonImages

    US$5.82–US$133.00

A favorite image of mine for the message that it contained for me. A small island nearly swept over by the incoming tides as a small crack in the gathering storm allowed for a colorful sunset on this PAcific Ocean beach. An image with a message in it for me, for while the world can be swirling around you, your faith can be that refuge, that rock to grab onto as the world flies by you.

I hope I haven’t worn out my welcome but it was one of the most photogenic locations we visited to here is another one.

  • Morning Dreams
    by Chris Clark

    US$4.99–US$114.00

The Isle of Skye lies of the West Coast of Scotland. I was sitting on top of a cliff on the Island at 4am with my Border Collie and Camera by my side, just dreaming till day break when i spotted the light over what I call the Lower Isles breaking through the early morning clouds. My dreams had come true. CANON EOS 300D / 18-55mm Lens / Tripod / Remote

  • A break in the clouds, like a spotlight on the stage. / The drama of the Isle of Skye. Taken on a CANON EOS40D. / Camera mounted on a tripod, with polariser filter, F22. / Underexpopsed by one stop to keep the sky moody. / A single RAW file processed in Photomatix then further adjustments in Photoshop CS3. / The scene was too transitory to do a true 5 exposure HDR !! / It lasted but a few moments ! • A croft is a very small farm, or smallholding. Sheep and a few cattle will be kept, and maybe a few crops grown, mostly potatoes, since they do well on the often wet and impoverished soil. Summer is a very short season at this Latitude (57 degrees North) Very few people will make a full living from crofting, and have other full- time employment. There are also quite a few ‘holiday cottages’, or second homes, purchased by ‘incomers’ / since many indigenous folk have given up the crofting life for what they consider to be an easier, or more attractive living. / The weather here can be pretty unforgiving !! / Tarskavaig, on a day like this, sits in a very idyllic situation , with the Cuillin hills as a backdrop. The mountain here is known as ‘The Blaven’. Shot on a Canon EOS 40D, f22, with polarising filter, on tripod, single RAW file, processed in PS CS3 with Levels and Curves adjustments. LAB colour employed to saturate the colours. / The line of cottages was used to draw the eye into the scene. • This is a composite of two of my photographs taken on the beautiful and luxurious Black Sands of Hamoa Beach Maui Hawai’i “I the human wander lone in wonder amid this grand universe of unbounded space and time You the great keeper of universe / Exist in its infinite wonders / Lone in silence / In the grand home of your own being! Through the limitless lands and times / Through the incountable stars / You are gazing at me I look up towards thee! / All noise ceased in silence / All worlds absorbed in deep peace / Alone / You are! / Alone / I am within, fearless!” ~ Poetry and Songs by Rabindranath Tagore’ Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Copyright © Sharon Mau 2009 / All Rights Reserved

  • Beatrix Potter's Garden
    by rodsfotos

    US$4.32–US$98.80

I am sure I don’t need to tell you who Beatrix Potter was, her love of the Lake District and nature is World famous. Though she is known to have lived at Hilltop Farm near Ambleside for much of her life, she owned many properties and farms in the area and on her death she left them to the National Trust so that the natural beauty of the area could be enjoyed for all time. There was over 4000 acres in her estate. This was one of her houses on Belle Isle on Windermere, in the large grounds she planted every species of tree that was native to the United Kingdom, it looks so beautiful from my viewpoint on a lake leisure steamer. Nikon D100 / 18 – 70 zoom @ 48mm / F11 for 1/60sec / CP Filter /

  • One of the loveliest family holidays we ever had was at the Isle of Wight. It had a lovely olde worlde feel about it that really suited me. This picture was done on A3 paper using coloured pencils. I’d like to thank Catherine Walker of Redbubble for suggesting the subject.
