Bands of iron, forged and moulded to make a warrior’s armour. / At dawn the city’s defenders went out to meet the foe. The battle was fierce and bloody from the first. Men slew, and in their turn were slain. Finally, one warrior stood alone between the invader king and the city with all its treasures. / The dark master saw victory at hand. Metal shrieked against metal but the bands of iron held firm beneath his sword. The city’s last protector, weary though he was, summoned one final reserve of strength. / The invader king fell lifeless as his head was parted from his shoulders.

How elegant are these! The stables at Cruden Farm have these astonishing ornate cast iron tops to the the stall dividers / It is so sad that they are no longer used! They are so brilliantly set up! / The system of feeding and cleaning the stalls are just so fascinating! / and the exercise yard is just stunning! / Skik has more shots of it he will get up in due course (we were a little preoccupied with our Puppies tonight! lol) And yes I was trying to be clever & artistic … did it work? lol ........ actually I’m pretty proud of this shot! ☺ the Nokia liked being inside I think lol Thanks for looking at my visuals! / Chookas! ☼
