Was taking shots of mom and baby (to be posted later), when dad came along and stuck his head into the frame. One shot. Just darkened the already dark background a bit to lose the detail! A strange and ominous sky hovers over Sydney as the city waits for it’s ‘important’ and unwelcome guest to depart.

Here is another example of nature’s beauty in this bark abstract. I perceive a warrior in orange in a chariot searching the landscape for intruders who are disturbing planetary harmony in this sector of an unknown galaxy. The dark background sets the mood and illuminates the vibrant color of the / landscape in this mysterious realm. The rider is clearly from another time and space and has been called back from the past to use his power against evil forces. What do you perceive in this multi-dimensional painterly photograph? Ok last night I had a scary dream (cool! I know!) that has a recurring theme. It went like this: I am in the house that I was raised in as a kid. It’s night time and I think that I’ve left the door downstairs open. This was always a BIG no no in my family. Ok so I go downstairs to lock it and while I’m in the garage I realize that someone is inside and hiding. That bit freaks me out even as I type this. So usually a dark shadowed figure (A bit like Mike Meyers out of “Halloween” I guess) comes after me and chases me everywhere in the house. I usually feel completely powerless during the chase bit. It’s one of those dreams where you wake up with your heart pounding through your jimmy jams. I think I’ve even managed to wake up shouting a few times with this dream. / Anyway last night the dream changed a little. This time instead of a dark figure it was a TIGER trying to kill me. I have no idea where it came from but…..... WEIRD!! / Come to think about it I just watched Halloween the other day for the first time. It might be related but I have had this recurring dream my whole life and I’ve only just recently seen “Halloween”(on widescreen). I hope one day the dream becomes lucid and I get to fight back. So what do you think? Any suggestions on what my subconscious is trying to tell me? p.s. get hold of Halloween widescreen – it’s AWESOME.

I had Bjork’s famous song, “Earth Intruders” when i lied on the grass this evening :))) “We are the earth intruders / We are the para troopers… ah -woohoo-hoo-hoo” Light hearted, certes… but fun! :))

This picture was taken at the Public Gardens in Halifax, NS. At one time you could almost forget you were surrounded by city in this beautiful little park; however, hurricane Juan took down a lot of the trees which opened up the city. It’s not quite so easy to forget anymore.

How’d you like to find this guy hiding behind your shower curtain??? lol He looks like he’s closing his eyes and holding his breath, hiding behind a clear shower curtain… / Just goofing around with software to make the funny face… :-) Used GIMP2, 1 original photo on a 100% transparent layer, erased 1/2 face and background, rotated slightly, copied to another layer and flipped image, then blended two sides together onto 1 transparent layer to paste over face in original photo. Made copy of original photo on transparent layer, erased the half with the face, leaving rest of transparent shower curtain to paste over face as the last layer. Finished with black paintbrush at 75% transparency to create the shirt. All artwork is © Rhonda L. Hall, All Rights Reserved.
