I wanted to achieve a powerful contrast between the presentation of the words and their meaning. The words describe something almost intangible yet the text is as structured, and stylised as possible. The text is lifted from a written piece Waiting for you.

I long to hold you in my arms and dissolve you into my heart. / To radiate the warmth of my heart into your soul. / To reach deep into that soul, and feel the energy that’s you. / You are my beloved, my only one. / I dive into you, fearless of drowning. / Take me, caress me, love me, unfold me. / There’s no time for then, there is only now / I cast my soul into yours, we are one for that moment / and for that moment there is nothing but us / Sweet, sensuous, loving, bliss!

Featured in All Parks in June 2009 I had to take this one with a tripod as it was so dark that I couldn’t get a focus on anything!! This is inside the rainforest and though it wasn’t raining yet, the clouds were as thick as the trees they enveloped! Even at the elevation of 2700 M. it had me sweating just walking through this!! I can’t imagine how much work it takes to keep these paths clear enough to walk through…but had to cut my way through enough cobwebs!! / Taken along the perimeter of the Chicaque Natural Park, Cundinamarca, Colombia along the edge of the steep mountain slope in the previous capture!
my wilde Paris gardEden – FEATURED in ImageWriting (2/24) Group My heart has been cut open / Blood drained in the name of freedom Sweet music in my veins / Ancient dance in my broken bones. / Happy and sad / My spirit is sailing into the unknown / With no land, no home to call my own / Hopelessly searching through the past / To find my people, who scattered / Like glass that shattered / Long ago. / Listen and you’ll hear the song of longing / Look in to the far distance beyond the horizon / And there you’ll see dancing / My lonely, Romani soul. We must not forget as dancers that we are dancing in the name of our people! I started with what I get asked for most. It seems everyone & I literally mean “everyone” has trouble finding/deciding on that perfect someone at some point in their life. After all, you are looking for your soulmate, your one true love! Nothing can be left to chance…. / Which is why the Romani’s devised these Love Spells & Rituals… to help make things appear more clearly & to smooth the path to beautiful, intoxicating drive-you-mad love! . he said: “Laurel leaves that burn in the fire”, .. think / Draw unto me my heart’s desire / Blue, violet black So Im back, to the velvet underground / Back to the floor, that I love / To a room with some lace and paper flowers / Back to the gypsy that I was / To the gypsy… that I was And it all comes down to you / Well, you know that it does / Well, lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice / Ah, and it lights up the night / And you see your gypsy / You see your gypsy To the gypsy that remains faces freedom with a little fear / I have no fear, I have only love / And if I was a child / And the child was enough / Enough for me to love / Enough to love She is dancing away from me now / She was just a wish / She was just a wish / And a memory is all that is left for you now / You see your gypsy
