Took a different approach for the photoshpcreative07 competition and decided to reverse the concept. Here a lone survivor condemned to a future of infinite chaos manages to escape back into a alternate past of infinite possibility. This could be a physical escape or projected from within the travellers mind; an internal escape to fantasy, much like the ending of Brazil. Have since sold the image for use on the cover of the Griffith Review – yay.
A photo I took of a pansy using a macro lense on my Nikon FM10. The petals were sprinkled in pollen and it reminded me of constellations- so I enhanced it on the computer to make it fun! No cropping or modifications- except for the work on the stars.

Interstellar majesty and wonder
I drew this on my Birthday today [May 6th, 2008] as a symbol of goodluck and prosperity for all in the future. On the multi-generational Asteroid Starship Shigar orbiting over the moon of Taghafari Prime 15,772 light years from Earth. Both colonists Bashir and Shamshad who are a married couple as they float in zero gravity see their new world for the first time where they will give birth to a whole new wonderful family and start a new generation on this beautiful new planet. This was done free hand with nothing but bic ball point pens.
Well here are some of the space craft used in my various fantasy and fiction works. I did this as I was getting lost in identification of the ones used and their uses so here is chart 1 of the ships ID’s. Most of these are used in the series Living Planet.
When other space airlines are just like taking the bus, you know you want that extra something special like unmatched hospitality, extra leg room, comfort & award wining space flight dining….....Pakistani Interstellar Airlines will always be your first choice. Other competing Space airlines out there just slam bam you into a crammed claustrophobic spaceplane by greeting you by the kilo in your body mass into which compartment they can shove you into and hook you up to a feeding tube in an up right position.
It’s time you joined me for a Flickr Photography meetup on the moons of the Jovian Giant: Naharkot Prime. The date is July 35th, 2037 at 51:80WM hours local time. Don’t be late or you will miss out.
Still marching strong and lowering those flags after 958 years. The very best parade performance this side of the galaxy.

For my first upload I figured I would pull something out of my space collection. There is not much to tell here except that I am, and always have been, fascinated with space and nebulae.

Asteroids, a psychedelic nebula, a Fifties-style flying saucer and a Pink Floyd song in the mix I was feeling like a little bubble floating in space until I hit my head on the ceiling. / Created in Bryce 6 and Photoshop CS2.
