part of the vibration series. ( see pulse in works not for sale) Originally inspired by the Brahma Kumaris ‘point of light’, it is a progression from there, after doing a 10 day silence retreat. The aim was to feel every cell and vibration in your body. By becoming more connected to your own physical body, and really knowing yourself in the process( where ever you ‘block’ your feelings, you become numb) you are more relaxed. calm and connected with the world. The result is a better life for yourself, and the the people you share the world with.

This shot was taken through a frosted glass window from a street in Stanmore, Sydney. The light was just right on the best sunny winter day so far this year. I decided to leave the spots of dirt, paint and splotches – makes for a more rustic look too, which I like.
Aggregration of diferent hued stone, polished, and makes for a beautiful interior design wall decoration piece. This is piece number 1 of a four piece series. The four together make for quite an eye-catching conversation piece for the distinguishing modern home. Paperbark Birch in Autumn Gold / North Pole Alaska North Star “Lost in the forest, I broke off a dark twig and lifted its whisper to my thirsty lips; maybe it was the voice of the rain crying, a cracked bell, or a torn heart. Something from far off it seemed / deep and secret to me, / hidden by the earth, / a shout muffled by huge autumns, / by the moist half-open darkness of the leaves. Wakening from the dreaming forest there, / the hazel-sprig sang under my tongue, / its drifting fragrance climbed up through my conscious mind as if suddenly the roots I had left behind cried out to me, the land I had lost with my childhood… and I stopped, wounded by the wandering scent.” ~ Poetry by Pablo Neruda Copyright © Sharon Mau 2009 / My images do not belong to the public domain.
