Nothing too serious, Siena has just ordered her Salt n Pepper squid and the order is taking longer than expected…. We do live in the lucky country if that’s all she’s got to cry about…

  • During a tour of a Houmas House plantation I got the chance to compose this shot and hold the camera still. In Louisiana.

  • Arrested Expansion is a symbolic scene that depicts a combination of self-excluding objects that might not be present in real life. Objects in the secluded room make the viewer feel claustrophobic and unreal, which might be compared to someone’s mental delusion based on a medical condition. Image is a mixture of photo stock with some 2D vectors, and 3D objects. Photoshop, 3ds max, Illustrator. / The most common cause of cardiac arrest is a heart rhythm disorder or arrhythmia called ventricular fibrillation (VF). The heart has a built-in electrical system. When a contraction happens, blood is pumped. But in ventricular fibrillation, the electrical signals that control the pumping of the heart suddenly become rapid and chaotic. As a result, the lower chambers of the heart, the ventricles, begin to quiver (fibrillate) instead of contract, and they can no longer pump blood from the heart to the rest of the body. If blood cannot flow to the brain, it becomes starved of oxygen, and the person loses consciousness in seconds. • D.I.Y. is one of ‘those’ skill sets. Either you can indeed do it yourself or you best get someone else to do it! MissT has always struggled with the practical self help stuff, just looking at a car engine results in the breaking a fingernail and getting covered in oil. Her one foray into carpentry turned into an voyage of discovery as she searched for a right angle and found only wrong angles and blisters. But our girl is plucky and never one to give up. Today she’s going to hang this lovely picture she bougth from RedBubble. See her prepare… / Steel toecapped high heels just in case… check! / Protective leopard print dressing gown… check! / Identify wall… check. / Practice swing with hammer… youch! text by the talented Andrew Walker model, the luscious MissT

  • Sitting Blue
    by Hena Tayeb

    US$4.32–US$98.80

While we were roadtripping through New England one of our first stops was in Essex, Connecticut. The season was fall and our intention was to take in the wonders of nature, enjoy the fall foilage. In Essex we bought tickets for the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat. When we got to the ticket counter it turned out that the train had been reserved for a private party and not open to the public on that day but since it was just the two of us ( my husband and I) they said they would give us a private car. If you still haven’t figured it out well the private car looked like what you see above. It had this antique feel about it, reminded me of a time when these trains were the means of tranportation, nothing like the trains we have today. And then every once in a while the steam train would let out a tut. It was enchanting. The blue of the chairs so cool, so lush, the sun streaming in. A perfect stop on what turned into a perfect trip. / Sitting the old Fashioned Way

  • The church benches
    by Bartek Kuzia

    US$3.99–US$91.20

This church isn’t known for its stained glass windows, nor for its benches. It’s famous because of its neighbour – a 19th century precise replica of the original Via Dolorosa. No, they didn’t copy the buildings, just the distance and the actual slope. To make the glory of the Lord shine brighter, they didn’t just use the natural topography of the area. Instead, they dug a huge ravine – it took them 15 years, and it’s estimated that 70 000 men took part in the digging. But, of course, I didn’t take the picture of the Polish Via Dolorosa. The light wasn’t good enough.

Scrying the future in a stagnant pool, the future is what it is, for it is written, so shall it be. Samael Wolf / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— In case you miss it..my recents work..thanks in advance! / /

    Silent Life
    by Paul Vanzella

    US$7.49–US$171.00

  • From my collection: / Alaska North Star ~ Arctic Fantasy Copyright © Sharon Mau 2009 / All Rights Reserved “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. / It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. / We ask ourselves who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? / You are a child of God. / Your playing small does not serve the world. / There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. / We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. / It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. / And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. / As we are liberated from our own fear, / our presence automatically liberates others.” by Marrianne Williamson ~ excerpts from Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles.
