This is a fascinating combination of acrylic, paper, refractive paint and inks to explore where I feel the pre-Raphaelites may have gone had they had the freedom and the materials we have available today. It is the first of a new series of paintings and is the most refreshing and exciting thing to work on. I love the Pre-Raphaelite paintings, but I feel they have always needed a treatment beyond the tight controls of the genre. The brotherhood were masters of portraiture and I couldn’t find a better way of exploring the techniques they employed. Watch out for more of these coming soon ! :-)

The phenomenon of light reflecting off a soap bubble is rarely observed. The iridescent colours are caused by interfering light waves, some of which reflect off the outer surface. I used a macro lens in order to capture this in detail. No adjustments were made to colour or saturation in Photoshop, only a simple square crop! this is one of the strangest fractals I have ever come across…this image is entirely constructed of interference patterns; structure, color, form… with any depth of zoom, this image looks identical to this…very weird… Sterling ~ 4800×4800px please use large view thanks for the look, my friends!

INNER PEACE VS OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE I felt my inner peace shine this morning. I got up early, so I had time to read some news on the web. No more than twenty minutes into my reading, my hate started to emerge at the many governments who are abusing their people and my inner peace was gone. Hate survives for one reason only and that is to spread more of it’s self upon the world. I had to remove the hate I was feeling and concentrate on what else I could do to continue to help my local community and beyond. I also thought about the many wonderful people on this planet who are making a difference. Then my inner peace returned. Peace survives for one reason only and that is to spread more of it’s self upon the world.

This is Megatron. He’s the leader of the Decepticons, and as such, is a bit of a jerk. He likes prawn crackers, dresses in greens, and his hair is purple. Whispatchet drew it, yo!

This is Starscream. He’s a Decepticon, and he’s also a swordsman. He’s the only one of the Decepticons to retain his weapon in human form. He likes to sit in trees, and his hair is red/orange. This is Jetifre. He’s an Autobot; the only Autobot flier. Or, at least he was before made human. He’s a little arrogant, and has an ego the size of Pluto, but is a nice guy at heart. This is Scavenger. He’s an Autobot. He’s the oldest of all the SNIs still in active service, and his not afraid to let the young ones know that he’s in charge with a good smack upside the head.
