A cat’s gaze is intense and carries the collective memories of ancient predators. This one in selective color (only in the eyes). This is a repost of an image without the frame so it can be printed as a card.

This design is part of the straight talking type collection which aims to work against t-shirts that say stupid things. Sometimes things are better left unsaid or by graphics/type/icons than by phrases.
A portrait of my most-wonderful Baci! She’s the apple of my eye. She actually enjoys posing for me. My other guys don’t. Click once on image to enlarge. / / / /
You look at her and say to yourself “she has a wonderful smile and glint in her eye” – then your subconscious asks the question “she had a boyfriend in the past, where is he now?” Thanks to Cheryl for modelling. For another in the Dark City series please have a look at earthairfire and Murder
A child lost, or stolen, hidden away. / We dream the child back, on a Hill / With power and intent. In the fog, / In the dark, with the dew upon us, / We dance deosil, with knowledge / And intent. Swirling, hand to hand, / Bringing back the power of the soul, / Child, Mother, twirl with us as we / Open the morning with gladness. / Divinity is once again amongst us. It feels, sometimes, like I have been chasing my dreams all my life! Maybe that is because when I was a child my dream was to be a ballet dancer, an actress, a nun (I was not even Catholic!), a princess, a concert pianonist, an opera singer, and National Velvet … just to name a few!!! Yes, my dreams have changed but my visions are still very lofty … up in those clouds! But today … I believe that if you can dream you can attain it. So, I may be chasing my dreams and maybe I am not so fast a runner anymore but my dreams are coming into reality a little more each day. And though I may not be as fast running as some, I have stamina … I will never stop! This is me … chasing my dreams! (ok, so I was never a blonde … use your imagination .. hehe!) —Judi
As I awoke to this first day of 2009, I am grateful to the breath of life and the beating of my heart, in rhythm with all those I love, respect and honor. As a peacemaker making resolutions (decisions as future actions), I decided that a RE-Solution was more appropriate, under the circumstances. RE- meaning ANEW and solutions, meaning the solving of a problem. As the vibrational energy sets my heart afire with the light of PEACE, the ONE feeling, being and vibration I wish most for our planet and humanity, I contemplated just how to activate them. Calling forth images of PEACE, I chose 3 images: / This image of myself bathed in the light of peace and love; holding hands with all those I love, honor and respect; and, Nature thriving again and respected by all. I allowed myself to be anchored with the feelings that these images emanated. / I then wondered what these vibrations would smell like and the first thought that came to my mind was Sandalwood, a scent that always calms and grounds me. / My imagination swirled with a rainbow of colors to choose from, that also reminded me of this feeling I wish to emanate, and my personal choice was Indigo, the color that resonates with perception, thought and morality, as well as in-sight. / Choose a phrase, was what ‘popped up’ next in my mind’s eye … as I heard the Dalai Lama say, “When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also develop inner happiness and peace.” / Synonomous words of Peace to enhance the frequency, choose two…tolerance and non-violence came to mind. / Music always seals the deal for my soul, so choosing a song to accompany this recipe was in order, so many to choose from and low and behold from my 300 CD player, Robert Palmer begins singing It takes every kind of People – so this will be my theme song for this vibration. / What actions or behavior can I do daily that will keep this vibration or light shining, easy answers came…continue meditating and communicating with people around the world. / Writing out these details made them more concrete, visible, touchable and my training knows that if posted around my space and read upon daily (at least for the next 21 days), it will become a regular expression of the state of being that I have chosen for my Peaceful intentions. Inspired with the help of Debbie Ford ;) What images, smell, color, phrase, synonyms, song and behavior do you wish to emanate for 2009? Taking a brisk walk through the snow with our 3 dogs, we meandered down to the river to feel and watch the flow…reflecting upon building within myself a new route, an expanded perspective, in order to RE-Solve the situation intended for 2009 and beyond… / Thanks for walking with me ;) River flows in you
Here’s another in my zoo series, this one of a lone Grizzly having a swim and glaring intently ahead.
She was just looking at her mum’s meal! :)
a disturbingly deliciously wicked text I recieved from my sinfully witty friend Mack – may God stop punishing you with germ warfare soon so we may punish ourselves with each others company over a nice bucket of coffee :)

The ‘barb’ that came to mind while photographing this dragonfly was “a biting critical remark”, that some humans choose to relay as pertinent, judgmental and necessary communications to share with others. In a world filled with so much verbal toxicity, I find myself sitting in the ‘middle of the fence’, so to say and constantly reminding myself that if I have nothing nice to say, I simply say nothing at all. Dragonfly ~ A key to my dreams, an eye for the truth, an ear open to spirit for messages bold, will break down illusions and transform my life, so I remake myself in a positive mold.
