This little guy (named Pedro) belongs to a friend of mine. He isn’t trained, but he loves attention. When an “Out of Context” interpretive assignment came along I wanted to do something with dogs. My friends have two dogs and we originally thought the other one would be the best choice, but he didn’t respond. So, I took a cue from a magician who does shows devoted to Big Cats and has his own reserve area for them. He always trains every cat to be able to do most of the tricks, but on the evening of the show he only takes the cats who are in the mood and indicate willingness to go and perform. When everyone was gathering around the other dog trying to get him to respond, Pedro just volunteered himself and jumped up in the chair. Since he seemed to want to do it I just switched gears and went with the flow. He was perfect! He was very professional and he even allowed us to put these reading glasses of Anita’s on him without any problems. He acted like they were his anyway! I’d never have thought a little Chihuahua would be so easy to direct, but apparently Pedro has some secret wishes to become a doggy supermodel. He was quite the little poser for us and we all had a lot of laughs. I couldn’t have had more fun! My deepest thanks to Anita, Matt, Brande and Obediah for all their support.

In my 8th grade World History class, my teacher Mr. Billings wrote on one of my term papers: “To a gentleman and a scholar…” and I never forgot that. Here is an image I saw of mosaics on a NY Subway wall that I enhanced on PhotoShop that I call “The Scholar”. Sold 1 laminated print to a RedBubbler.

This is a diagram explaining a theory of consciousness from the early 1600’s. I thought it was both cool and interesting so figured it would be something to put on a t-shirt. I know there’s nearly no creativity to this one, but it’s still an intellectual and interesting piece of clothing! I like it anyway :P

Buddy said, since pappa Eddie and Pappa Denny taught me how to read I can’t get my hands on enough books. They told me they’re going to teach me how to use the Internet next. Ed
