  • Grandfather and grandson going fishing for the first time together.

  • Glasses

  • Mouse drawn on the computer

  • A shot of a group of people in a football field, learning cross-country skiing. This was taken from a bridge high above the action.

  • These footprints going in a few different directions on this floor really reminded me of dance instructions, i can just picture some hospital patient cracking out the moves to the Macerena while waiting to be treated.

  • Take a good look at this stuff and you’ll know about 1/5 of what you need to know to avoid it. It changes colours multiple times on the same plant. It grows up, down, and sideways. It can get you even when it’s not there because it was there and you didn’t know it. And it’s not an oak tree. Poison ivy looks like ivy; poison oak looks like Odo from that Star Trek series: anything it wants to look like. Whatever you do, don’t pick it up, aim it at the camera, and take lots of pictures of it to post online or sell worldwide. This concludes the class Poison Oak 101. There will be a quiz when your itching stops. PS Some people seem to be immune to the effects of poison oak. I’m one of them. So, no I’m not a blithering idiot willing to do anything for The Shot. Well, that’s not really true; I’ll do anything until I find one thing I won’t do. Then I’ll correct myself. But it’s just AWESOME that there’s one thing where I finally get the advantage over the everyday bloke. Heeee heeee and woo hoo! :-D

  • My interpretation of something I saw in my psychology text book…

  • Long before America became the land of round doorknobs, the LATCH DOOR was a common door atire, brought here from those that came from Germany and other countries. TODAY Americans have forgotten “how” entrance is made and so the doors carry a sign with instructions of “how” to open!

  • No trace has yet been found of the tomb of Shoshenq I – which makes me very happy. You will free yourself when you learn to be neutral and follow the instructions of your heart without letting things perturb you. This is the way of Maat. Painting in mixed media / 100×42 cm Music -

  • Still using the same few brushes and an occasional pencil tool . Kind of happy with this one, as I was having so much trouble with glitches on steps three, and, especially, four. I didn’t experience any of that today. Then again, I did clean out the temp files and such before continuing.

  • Started 10:41 finished 10:59 18 minutes Total time from Step one, approximately: 41 minutes This includes not only glitches, but interruptions by a teenage boy who wants to use my computer for nefarious purposes. lol

  • Now, this one, this step and no other, I did use an alchemy filter on. However, if you can’t tell which one, or how it was applied, I’m certainly not going to tell you. But, if you like, I’ll come by your home and wait for you to use a wash or a stippling brush, or etc. and then I’ll ridicule you and tell you what an artist you’re not. Fair is fair, right? LOL Of course, I wouldn’t do that. The point is that we all use short cuts, when we can get them, but it’s usually still an artist using their own talents to create, regardless. Also, I have no idea how long this, or the next and last step took, as I got interrupted by phone calls. But, here it is 12:42 pm and I am already completely done with the painting. so it took .. hmm .. maybe an hour, maybe an hour and a half, altogether.

  • Finished. As I said in step eight, I had some issues with keeping track of the time, as someone showed up, someone called, etc. so there were interruptions. But, I was all the way done at some point before, but near, 12:42 pm, even with all the interruptions. I used an alchemy treatment once, on step 8. I decided Step Six was more than enough to prove the point, since someone said it was beautiful. Or was that step five? I think it was six, though. This has been fun, but, it gets tiring to stop and save and upload, etc. Hope you enjoyed it!
