A Teardrop in Time I dedicate this to all Native Americans. / This image is so much more than a photograph of a beautiful sunrise…...to me it symbolizes power and strength, and overwhelming evidence of a power so much greater than we could ever imagine…...the teardrop is in memory of all the vast numbers of Native Americans whom were abused and destroyed by others’ ignorance….... In the last couple of years, I have become quite curious about Buddhism. Last year, I picked up a couple of small books at the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas in Niagara Falls (and yes there are really 10,000 buddha statues in this temple!) and had quickly thumbed through them. After my trip to Thailand, my interest has grown and a few weeks back started reading the Complete Idiots Guide to Understanding Buddhism (sounds odd but it’s actually a great starting point!). The ideologies truly resonate with me and I have tried to start applying them to my daily life. That being said, I wanted a Buddha statue as a reminder of those ideologies and so this little man is now a beautiful part of my home.

there are many things in the world that people disagree on…what saddens me is when a persons beliefs feel to me like hate, and prejudice… i felt this tonight on here…so i created a peace of heART that for me, feels of unity and peace. i believe in the positive energy. and i believe in a day where we will all be considered as equal.. i look at this image and i feel the beauty that is in this world…and i hope that many others will feel it too. peace….terri ps…i need to add..this was not directed at me personally.( but i still felt it)..it was on anothers….
