  • A large tree standing itself alone amidst all difficulties and natural calamities inspires me to become stronger.

  • I thought I’d found a reason to live / Just like before when I was a child / Only to find that dreams made of sand / Would just fall apart and slip through my hands / But the spirit of life keeps us strong / And the spirit of life is the will to carry on / Adversity what have I done to you / To cause this reclusive silence / That has come between me and you / And the spirit of life oh-ho remains in light / And the spirit of life oh-ho remains inside / I never thought it would be quite like this / Living outside of mutual bliss / But as long as the veins in our arms still stand up / The spirit of life will keep living on / ‘dead can dance’

Pentax istDS Camera The Covenant / Author: martin steinbrugger Having once beheld His glory shinning down from above… / My drought stricken life is now as a reservoir, / Constantly being renewed with God’s love. There’s only a remnant here and there of my barren past… / For behold God’s promise to heal and renew, / Is most certainly coming too pass. Water of life overflowing my soul… / Bringing forth the blessing and joy of knowing, / It is not I, but God who is in control. Covenant blessing under His bow shall I kneel… / For it is by His stripes and His stripes alone, / That my wounded soul has been healed. • Your love’s a gathered storm I chased across the sky / A moment in your arms became the reason why / And you’re still the only light that fills the emptiness / The only one I need until my dying breath / And I would give you everything just to / Feel your open arms / And I’m not sure I believe anything I feel And now, now that you’re near / There’s nothing more without you / Without you here And I’m trying to believe / In things that I don’t know / The turning of the world / The color of your soul / That love could kill the pain / Truth is never vain / It turns strangers into lovers / And enemies to brothers / Just say you understand / I never had this planned And now, now that you’re near / There’s nothing more without you / Without you here / Without you here / There’s nothing more without you / Without you here My head lies to my heart / And my heart it still believes / It seems the ones who love us are the ones / That we deceive / But you’re changing everything / You’re changing everything in me And now, now that you’re near / There’s nothing more without you / Without you here (lyrics – Without You Here -Goo Goo Dolls) *S E L F P O R T R A I T morph 1

  • views: 3424 / favs: 51 Completed 2004 age 18 I was inspired by the Japanese artist Hiroshi Senju, who tends to limit his colors in his paintings. Sometimes he paints an image where the background is the complimentary colors of the subject. His style is simple but at the same time intense, where the foreground stands out from the complimentary background. Medium: Watercolors This is a painting done in my sketchbook. The paper isn’t watercolor paper, but at least more durable than regular printing paper.
