Technology cannot replace the grace the skill the smell of my creativity / I will wait in your cupboard for all time
I was prompted to write yet again by another Bubbler’s art. / This time I have gone to the Queen of Collaboration herself Kathleen and her simple photo of an empty Ink Bottle evoked this poem. / I felt such a wave of loss / of longing / of nostalgia at the loss of the ink / ink wells ink pens fountain pens quill / I admire the writers of pre biro times for not only their words but for their skill to write with ink – how frustrating for them how important their work was. / my poems My Beast and addicted to the written word sums it up better. / But I love my PC – I still write letters by hand though – it surprises people now days to receive them! Thank you Kathleen for the inspiration to my words – to my work! :O) xx ♥ xx

I have been very lucky with Genealogy and finding my ancestors, and have gone back to Normandy to the year 1044 AD. / And I am also lucky to have a passion for Medieval History. / These two things have helped me write this little poem, which I was inspired to write after seeing and reading “Lanner Falcon” by tkrosevear / I hope you like it.
