This work was inspired by the wonderful poem UMBRELLA of the very talented artist ANAISNAIS / Thank you Anna-Marie for let to share this beautiful poem here. ’’ UMBRELLA / / by Anaisnais There she stands / Centre stage for all to see / Tall and slender / Precariously she balances. I reach out for her / Draw her to me / My hand skims her body / Slowly reaches her skirt. Playful fingers find hidden areas / Delighted her legs spring forth / Displaying the very beauty / Of her delicately placed, adorned skirt. Gaily she dances around / Dizzily twisting and turning / In the brightness of day shading / She gently tends to my needs. Personal ballerina takes to toes leaping / Merrily bobbing up and down / As emotional to her performance / Clouds cry a thousand tears for her. Reaching our destination / Slightly shaken, she leans / Watches me, / Quietly drips, against the wall. Reminiscent of the day’s fulfillment / We acknowledge one another, silently / Restful knowing we shall be / One, once more. ’’ I truly appreciate all your kind comments and support. / All Origional art work can be purchased through the artist. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——- Copyright notice: / All rights reserved. [Taken in Natural Light]. Taken on the banks of the river Nile, remote Nigeria. I got into conversation with this Muslim girl and I felt s deep compassion for her, as she said She sells peanuts to get money to help her Grandfather who cares for her and her brother and two sisters. Her mother is dead and when she died the father just left and never returned. She told me that she only sold three packets that day and she was selling from around 10 am to 7pm. She did not make enough even to buy basic foods. She spoke good English so I knew she had had some education. I and my fellow mission workers bought what she had left. Then I asked her If I could pray for her. She said yes. I asked God to open her heard adn reveal himself to her. We led to to Christ. She wept and the lord really did touch her. We now visit her village often. All proceeds from sale of my art, or donations made via our charity website goes to help extreme poor and sick in remote and rural villages of Africa. Please visit my Africa Mission Charity Website: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ / / I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed here with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. PLEASE READ THIS + ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALES OF MY ART, DONATED ART OR DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY WEBSITE GOES TO HELP THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN. WE NEVER TAKE A PENNY OUT OF WHAT YOU GIVE FOR STAFF SALARIES, OR CHARITY OVERHEADS+ This was taken at Ungwa/Fada Village in remote Nigeria. This is one child I will never forget. I had just finished preaching in a remote village and the Prayer line had closed and the meeting was closed. But Noel’s Older brother came from the very back and carried Noel to me. he was dying from Intestinal worms and had a terrible open wound on his left leg. We prayed, and as I was Praying Noel took his last breath and went home to be with Jesus. The thing that broke my heart is that Noel’s life could have been saved, if we had the money for medicine. many Like Noel can be saved. PLEASE Help US. The village has now collapsed and there is no clean water. many die like Noel. We can make a real difference, if we all sow whatever finance you can into raising $5,300 to drill a new deep bore well, that wont run dry. We need you help as we cannot do this on our own. Beloved, i know you will pray for me and the children. Please do what you can. Thats all the Lord expects from any of us. Together We can make a real difference. God bless you in your efforts. Please visit Charity website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ 100% of all money raised from sale ofall my art goes toward the extreme poor in isolated villages in Africa. I will never forget taking this photograph, as I was standing waiting for the ferry to come. Anyone who has been to rural Africa will know that things runs on African time. That’s why I call them Last minute.com. After three hours, these two guys came to me and said the ferry Had broke down on the other side, and that they would take me accross. So I got in, with all my camera equipment and a very wet Interpreter, who fell into the water. / One the way accross I suddenly realised that the large boat coming straight towards us was the Ferry. It was so funny. The fishermen refused to take any payment, as they said it would bring good fortune to the, as they had a white man in their boat. they both recieved Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It was really a blessed boat trip. visit: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/
Somewhere inside a Brooklyn Subway I saw a mosaic wall and focused stricktly on a portion of the wall. I loved the hands and the writing instrument. I thought it would inspire someone to WRITE.

Visit my Africa Mission Charity Website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Ungwa/Fadda Village is very remote and many children here are disabled by Rickets. rickets is a disease that causes limbs to bow and leaves the child with chronic pain. Here you see Leah praying to God before she starts her daily task of caring for her younger brother and sister, John and Sarah. / Her father died shortly after our last visit in December 2007. Mother is sick. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. In the midst of so much suffering, Jesus is always there to comfort, heal and strengthen. Like me, Leah draws strength and peace from her heavenly Father as She talks to him in Jesus name. There is no greater Love, or deeper heart of compassion than Gods heart toward all people, regardless of their Race, Color or background. To me He is my reason for living and my inspiration to help those in need. This is why I and the small team of unpaid volunteers work around the clock to help children like Leah and her family. Note from the writer / When reading this please read it slowly, breathing at each line. Slowly. / Read with intesity, and excitment, longing. / (will make more sense) This is something that I wrote last night and has touched my heart and everyone who has read it thus far. Please feel free to comment on this as it is one of my first writings. Must see in larger view! To make it easier here’s the writing. “In the stillness” / By Tamela R. Wall In the stillness, I wait / How long till I hear your voice? / In the silence I wait. / Eager for the voice of the Lord. / You are always with us. / Through the noise of our daily lives. / To the quietness of our sleep. / You are always there. / So I wait, / Sometimes it is hard to be patient and wait. / The devil is always trying to tempt us and keep us from hearing. / To wait. To pray. To listen. / Silence. / What is it that you are trying to tell me? / Maybe I’m listening to hard. / Or maybe I’m not listening at all. / Focus. / In the stillness, I wait. / Then when I think that you have nothing for me, / You speak. / In a still small voice. / You speak. / Though as I listen closer. / Your voice isn’t so distant any more. / It’s growing stronger like the thunder, like a mighty rushing wind. / It’s closer now. / Like you are right beside me. / I am listening Lord. / Your message is simple yet powerful. / You says nothing. / I breathe,I wait, then it hits me. / Sometimes the thing you need us to do is wait. / To show us the things we are missing. / Be patient, be content and wait. / Prayerfully, silently, waiting. / Until you speak. / In your time, in your way & your will. / You begin to show me things through others, / through their words, / their actions, / and their attitudes. / You teach me. / You teach me to listen and to be ready. / For one day very soon, we will have no warning. / We must be ready. / We must be waiting. / But while we wait we are to share. / Share the news of your salvation. / I rejoice O’Lord. / My soul cannot stay still. / I must shout it to the world. / I must share. / I must wait. / I must be ready. / I must pray. / I must let the world know that there is still hope. / You are the way. / You are the truth. / And you are the life. / You never promised that the road would be easy. / You just promised that I would never have to go alone. / So hear I am Lord use me. / In the stillness, I wait. / For the glorious return through the eastern gate. / I wait. / For that homecoming day, / I wait. / For on that day you will call my name. / I will shout from the mountains that I have waited and I am here. / So in the stillness, I wait.
Please visit my Africa Mission website. [Click on link below] / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ These are just some of the children in Ungwa/Fada village, that are in desperate need of our help. / Disabled by rickets and isolated by most others, they struggle each day just to survive. Lack of Vitamin [D] and other minerals cause Rickets. / I observed them during three days, as I lived in the village. They stayed together in a small group, and watched the other children run and play together. Other disabled children did the same. Three children could not walk and crawled on their hands and knees. One could only move along on her bottom. There is NO HELP or CARE for these children. We will with your Prayers, and Financial donations be able to feed, cloth and train as many as we can in skills that will help them. The Abundant Harvest Project, which will start in early 2009, will eliminate Rickets adn most other diseases. / I will be going ut on 9th October to this and other villages. / Please do what you can to help.
