”...It might be alone, but it doesn’t look lonely—it looks warmed, almost” Greeting Card version
Sally Omar / got inspired by This work and wrote this Poem to go with this Image , Thank you sally / —-—-—-—-- / VIRGIN Her smile like a moonbeam / Eyes like a violet dream / Skin so soft and like milk / Covering her hair with silk / Lips full and ever so red / Words of love never said / Breasts untouched by any hand / Never looked upon by any man / A heart so warm beyond compare / Yet no man has never been near / Her legs so long as she walks / Words so eloquent as she talks / Keeping herself ever so pure / Asking for nothing..wanting more / A woman yet a child / Her temperament so very mild / One day a true love will come along / Sing her a beautiful song / She will give her love so freely / And a VIRGIN she will no longer be.

Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.” / Thomas E. Lawrence

Completed 2004 age 18 I was inspired by the Japanese artist Hiroshi Senju, who tends to limit his colors in his paintings. Sometimes he paints an image where the background is the complimentary colors of the subject. His style is simple but at the same time intense, where the foreground stands out from the complimentary background. Medium: Watercolors This is a painting done in my sketchbook. The paper isn’t watercolor paper, but at least more durable than regular printing paper. In modern English, the term ghost ship has come to stand for at least one of three separate definitions, all of which involving unexplained circumstances. Historically, the term has been used to refer to reported sightings of apparitions over water that have appeared in the form of maritime sailing ships, often after having previously been known to have sunk, or to derelict vessels found floating with no crew. In fiction, ghost ships have often been vessels crewed by some manner of spectral beings. Full Moons are traditionally associated with temporal insomnia, insanity and various magical phenomena such as lycanthropy. Psychologists, however, have found that there is no strong evidence for effects on human behavior around the time of a full moon. They find that studies are generally not consistent, with some showing a positive effect and others showing a negative effect (hence the terms lunacy and lunatic) Many neopagans hold a monthly ritual called an Esbat at each full moon, while some people practicing traditional Chinese religions prepare their ritual offerings to their ancestors and deities on every full and new moon
Mindscape is a mental or psychological scene or area of the imagination. The word is most suitable to the filed of psychology. Mindscape has two words combined in such a way that the meaning goes beyond it – Mind and Escape… It can be translated as a Mind that wants to escape or a Mind that is in route of escaping. This adventure can be in the sense of reality or in spiritual world. / Depression sufferers escape from facts, hallucinates escape from reality, psychotics and neurotics escape from many other forms of life. We usually state that they are people who require help so that they can live an ordinary life. But who is to decide what is normal and what is abnormal? If ones can see the other side of horizon, according to them they deem the facts strongly that they hold about life, oneself and reality. They believe they are the right ones who are amongst wrong people. Are you one of them? I tend to assume we all are, one way or another. Kiss me darling… A kiss is the touching of one person’s lips to another place, which is used as an expression of affection, respect, greeting, farewell, good luck, romantic affection or sexual desire. The word comes from Old English cyssan “to kiss”, in turn from coss “a kiss”. Anthropologists have not reached a conclusion as to whether kissing is learned or a behavior from instinct. It may be related to grooming behavior also seen between other animals, or arising as a result of mothers premasticating food for their children. Kissing allows prospective mates to taste and smell each other’s pheromones for biological compatibility. Women are subconsciously more attracted to men whose major histocompatibility complex portion of their genome is different from their own, leading to offspring with resistance to a greater number of diseases due to heterosis, and thus having a better chance of survival. Non-human primates also exhibit kissing behavior. Dogs, cats, birds and other animals display licking and grooming behavior among themselves, but also towards humans or other species. This is sometimes interpreted by observers as a type of kissing.

Original is 11”x14” acrylic on canvas – SOLD She is stepping out in faith, walking into peril but with total confidence. As long as she stays strong and continues in prayer, she will be unharmed. This piece is sort of a take on the story of Peter walking out on the water to meet Jesus. When Peter took his eyes off of Christ and looked down, he sank. Due to the recent political battles, it has become clear that people are placing their faith in the wrong places these days. www.bryandrinkscoffee.com

A kind of surreal image of a stream in the winter with a few ps adjustments to give it that surreal look of an image in a dream. Surrealist artists are credited with developing a series of automatic techniques with the aim of freeing the imagination and removing conscious control from at least part of their creative process. The appealing thing about these techniques is that they help you get over the problem of staring at a blank canvas or wondering where to start. When you’re absolutely stuck for ideas and creative inspiration, why not give some of these a try: Decalcomania Decalcomania is a process of spreading thick paint on a canvas then covering it with another material such as paper or tin foil. This layer is then peeled back, leaving a pattern which becomes the basis for your work of art. The technique was used by surrealist artists including Max Ernst who used sheets of glass to create patterns which became artworks such as this: / Works using decalcomania by Max Ernst Bulletism Bulletism describes the technique of shooting or throwing ink at a blank piece of paper. The artist then develops the image based on what they see. Salvador Dali used this technique in images such as the one below: / Biblia Sacra 1- Sanctus Hieronymus by Salvador Dali Basic technique (video) Cubomania Cubomania is a method of making collages in which a picture or image is cut into squares and the squares are then reassembled without regard for the image. The technique was first used by the Romanian surrealist Gherasim Luca. Parsemage Parsemage describes a technique where dust from charcoal or colored chalk is scattered on the surface of water and then skimmed off by running cardboard or heavy paper under the water’s surface. UK artist Ithell Colquhoun is credited with inventing the technique. Grattage Grattage is the act of scraping off dry pieces of paint from a canvas, resulting in random lines and shapes. The technique was used by surrealist artists including Max Ernst and Joan Miro. / The Entire City by Max Ernst / We’d like to hear about any similar automatic techniques you use in your work. Perhaps you’ve dabbled in a little paint throwing or maybe you’ve joined the photographers in Project Double X, swapping rolls of film to see what results you get. You might have even been brave enough to try camera tossing. We’d love to see some examples of work where part of your creative process has been left to chance. / / Nat Related groups: Project Double X, Surrealism, The Ressurrection of The Exquisite Corpse and The Voyage Of The Surrealists
