Dangerous Days was the original name of the screenplay and film, Blade Runner. The lighting seemed reminiscent of the volumetric lights used in the movie. Blade Runner is one of my favourite movies of all time, and the book is another favourity, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Well, the answer is no! Apparently, they dream of Unicorns. Also:

One of my favorite times to take photographs is after a gentle summer’s rain. On this particular day it had rained overnight and I went outside as the sun was coming up. Armed with my macro lens and a star filter I captured this pretty raindrop on a dogwood leaf. The gift was the sunbeam in the background as the sun was rising above the trees. At last after so many hours of just sitting and waiting, finaly I captured this little beauty as he was leaving the Pink Hibiscus….I had to hide behind another plant to catch him, but I think it was worth the wait and the ambush…...Please view in large format for optimum viewing pleasure….shot on 08/01/09 at 7:30 am…sun was up and just the right lighting to bring out his colorful features.
