A beautiful honeybee is hard at work extracting pollen from a yellow marigold. Her front legs cling to the side of a petal, which appear to be helping her balance as she sips the pollen. In the foreground, a faded blossom can just be seen.

Hoverfly. I found this tiny chap gorging at the bottom of a crocus. Being somewhat less than 1/10th", no more than 2mm, in length and covered in pollen, I at first thought this was a speck of dust moving in the breeze.

The jacaranda was in full bloom and attracting bees galore, I managed to get a couple of them having feeds in the flowers.
