  • Please visit Mission to Africa website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Sarah was close to death when she was brought to our mission center in Kujama Nigeria. I was getting ready to travel to ungwa/fada Village to see how they were coping with the new water pump and Grinder we bought them on our previous visit. As I was loading the vehicle, one of my helpers noticed a man carring a woman on his back. We found out later he had walked 6 miles carrying his sick wife. She was unable to move or communicate with us. We carried her into the small hall. Her body was all swollen and she was in great pain. I spoke to her husband through an intrepritor and he told us she was suddenly stricken with sickness a week ago. He was so distraught. I then spoke to Sarah and assured her that God was a God of Great love and compassion, and that he would heal her. I just knew that all were about to see a miracle take place. / Jesus says: / Mar 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. With the help of an Intrepretor We began to Pray. I laid hands on Sarah and began to praise and Worship God. he has anointed me with power over all power of the enimy. It was about 10 minutes later, that Sarah opened her eyes and began to Speak. / It was not the native Housa Language, but the heavenly Language she was speaking, Gift of Tongues. Her legs began to move anddn her arms. 25 minutes later, and Sarah ws sitting up on a chair. This Photo was taken just 30 minutes after the Lord filled her with the Holy Spirit and completely healed her. PRAISE GOD! I spoke to Sarak on 2oth June 2008 Via telephone, and she is well and sharing her Miracle with many. Sarah was healed on 11th December 2007. / This was witnessed by 30 villagers who had gathered outside the small hall. Please continue to pray for me and the Return mission to Rural villages on 9th October 2008. / Please click on link below: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Link to all my art & Writings: / http://www.redbubble.com/people/joshuatree1

  • A lovely butterfly resting on a tree trunk. / INFO FOR SOLD!: / Sold in Matted Prints & Cards, here on RB, by mystery buyers.

  • This is Einstein the Praying Mantis, he was a 2nd grade class pet. The children were having a hard time finding crickets to feed him so they asked if I would like to take him home. They requested that I take a bunch of pictures of him too. I have tons ! I hope it makes them happy. These are very interesting insects, they are almost like pets. They follow you around by turning their faces toward you and they like to crawl out of their little home and onto your hand. I let him out to hang out on some indoor flowers while I’m cleaning his cage.

  • In depth because there’s thousands of them here…. Shot at ISO 3200 – because there’s not much light when you crawl under a microwave station to get to the ladybug mosh pit. © 2009 Sara Lamond. All rights reserved.

  • The Pearl Crescent is a very small butterfly with a wing span of about an inch and a half. This one was feeding on spring clover blossoms and was extraordinarily cooperative, allowing me to get very close with the macro lens. (Image is full frame, no cropping).

  • Another one down, like 15 to go, lol. One of the reasons i have been so absent. i feel bad, but i am really trying to get this book done. One drawing takes forever, getting the composition can take days, or longer, then starting the sketch. i started this in pencil on 2 May, 2009. Finished in pencil & started in Prisma colored pencils on 9 May (my brother Chris’ birthday), & just finished today, 22 May (my Dad’s birthday). i will take a slight break & hopefully have time to come around. Really missing you all, but i gotta keep cracking the whip, really hoping to get this book completed.
