A couple of weeks ago I was advised that a member had put me on their watchlist. I like to see the artwork of people who like my artwork, so I went to this person’s profile page. I discovered that they had no work of their own up, they only had favourites, and myself alone on their watchlist (at that point). / This morning another of my works has been faved by someone who is not putting up any work themselves. / To these people I say, your interest is welcome if you are simply admirers. However, it’s worrying to me that you offer no details about yourselves, your personal connections to art, or even how you came to discover RedBubble itself. I’m sure you both know who you are. I invite you to step forward here, respond to this post of mine, and say a little about yourselves. I know I risk offending by taking such a blunt approach, but there has been various incidents of theft from other artists on this site. By coming forward, the worst thing you can do is make me look like an idiot. Trust me, I’m familiar with that experience, and I wouldn’t mind it happening again here. Over to you.

I love PhotoShop because it helps me salvage and recycle photos that kind of miss the mark. This photo of a tufted titmouse, leaning forward and looking straight at me was resuscitated with some PS filters and made into a greeting card that lets a friend know you’re just checking in to see how they are doing.

This is the very day to reflect on a reality that everyone of us faces…our mortality….One doesn’t have to go vey deep in their reflection because its starkness / meets us in the news media on a daily…if not hourly basis…Art comprises this reality as does literature. The immediate question is begged in inquiry and as a rhetorical bid for truth…If we do not accept the message found in Scriptures….what then shall we resort to and what basis can we accept its objective validity. Can reincarnation as speculated by mysticism…..to what end and resolution? Should you return a thousand lifetimes…..would you perfect the ‘soul’ that is intrinsic to each and ev’ry lifeform whether it be human or bovine ....If you are not ‘fortunate’ to be revered as some divine entity in the confines of India, would you be the ‘Chick filet logo’ bidding for humans to eat poultry vice beef steak…Regardless what ecumenical madness what attempt to placate…..there is this truth…not all roads lead to ‘heaven’. They are antithetical of the others in nature and proposition. Only one can supply absoluteness and veracity…Do your ‘homework’.....investigate the belief system in each ‘religion’ and philosophy….be careful what you choose as the one you will ‘live’ your life by….what you may choose may be as toxic as cobra venom or a black mamba…. Consider each as like unto the various drinking vessels displayed in the movie, Indiana Jones, TheLast Crusade…one vessel and ONLY THAT VESSEL pours out “LIFE”....There was a ‘easter’ morn that is like none before….Consider it before you go blindly in search of another…..Did Jesus rise from the dead? As Paul urged his readers and listeners in that Corinthian household of faith….”If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is without foundation….we are found to be false witnesses about God, beacuse we have testified about God that He raised up Christ….if Christ has not been raised…your (belief system) is worthless and we are prey to the winds of merciless torment. There would thus be no remedy for our mortality …nothing to give hope or comfort….Christianity would be a fool’s faith and you would be as well off holding onto the tenants of any ‘religion’ ....But wait there’s more… BUT NOW CHRIST has been raised from the dead…just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive….read on…there is a marvelous resolution of which it is for us to be a participant or not…...’Choose wisely…..that you may hear the immortal words…Truly, You have chosen wisely…Enter into My Presence”

Ok, so I know by writing this I am making it blatantly obvious that I know nothing about Australia, Someone, please tell me about this fabulous instrument called the “Didgeridoo” I think that’s how it’s spelled I recently made myself a CD for meditation and I downloaded a music song with mostly just sounds of this wonderful sounding instrument. Please tell me some more about it, I have seen them on TV before, but I never knew the range of sound you can get from it. (how does one make that sound anyway???) Any fun information would be awesome…this is just another of many reasons why I have to travel to the land down-under! cheers! jastoffer
