I find winter very beautiful. But with beauty comes pain. This poem is about how how the changing of seasons from Autumn to Winter makes a young woman ponder about death, life, and love. The reality of her world is that everything she loves always dies or leaves her…her former lover included. So although Winter may be a beautiful season, the frigid cold and breathtaking snow kills everything that once breathed, even love.
