..Portrait of four Boys..Brothers in their bathing trunks age eight or nine to eleven or twelve / I used watercolor and watercolor pencil .on Coquille paper. cold press ..I love this paper…It has a stiple surface and I know exactly what I’m going to get with.it ..It takes graphite and watercolor very well….22”x30” I use different brands of colored water color pencils…some are soft and some harder..I apply water where I want it and watercolor where I want it…I spray it lightly with a fine mist of water when I am done to bring the color out a little more but I don’t get it wet. ink on canson’s drawing paper 220 gsm about A3 size / .. done mainly by my non dominant left hand :) from life about 20 min max (but no idea really how long this took) ..yesterday I have seen my hand taken out of the splinter and my middle finger with two wires poking out of it …. wow …what a sight … it actually made me a little nauseated … looked like a hand of someone else …. and gave me many ideas …..
