  • I decided to put this calendar together made up from artworks my grandmother had done in the 1920’s. Most of the work was done between 1925 and 1928. Her name was Rona Collings (nee Steel) In July, 2009, my grandmother would have turned 100. Sadly she passed away 6 years ago. We shared so much, she had a wicked sense of humour and a wonderful passion for learning. Grandma had an amazing mind. Her hobby was to enter quiz shows and she appeared on many television shows. Most of them she won. BP Pick-a-Box, Temptation, Great Temptation and Sale of the Century to name a few. I certainly miss her…. I had last year written a journal here about my gorgeous grandma.
