This is a print of the original piece entitled “I will wait for you here” / It was hand drawn with ink and digitally altered with color and texture. The background is old fabric that was scanned and copied into the print. I absolutely adore this piece. It shoots me right back to fifth grade when my best friend had her dad build us a swing in the woods. I used to swing for hours looking up at the birds…and wait. Im not sure what I was waiting for back then…but it didnt matter, I was happiest there. This print is available for purchase as cards that you can mail to someone you adore (Or more likely, keep for yourself and frame!) and a few prints. A boy and a bird, both singing their song to each other. I have tried this, whistling back to the birds I hear, but they never respond. =P Just a simple little thing I did, kind of a different style but I like it. Was fun to do. =D / Used sepia ink for the characters and border, then added a texture and the music notes in the background with Photoshop. Hope you like it! =3

This began it’s life as a black ink A5 illustration on Acid free 110 gsm Cartridge paper… I later coloured it using Derwent colour pencils… / In colour it comes to life… the silhouettes of tiny bugs glow as they swarm around a heart of lush green foliage & exotic flowers…

I created this drawing with art markers and a micron .01 black pen. The paper is Stonehenge 100% Cotton, Vellum finish, 250 GSM, neutral ph/acid free paper. It is 8×8 inches. I absolutely LOVE this paper and plan to buy more in different sizes. It beats ANY Strathmore Bristol Papers, Hands Down! I just uploaded this new scan from my work!! I just completed this mixed media piece. The image size is 14×18 inches. I used archival ink and derwent graphitint watercolor pencils. This is drawn on illustration board and took many hours. I completed the border over a year ago and could not decide what I wanted to put in the middle. I was originally going to call this drawing “If I Could Help Design An Antelope” but as I finished it I decided that it had an old world feeling to it and the name “Paradise” seemed to fit. you will not see this species anywhere as I dreamed it up:) Any proceeds from the sale of prints and cards from RB will be donated to The Philadelphis Mission. UPDATE!! Finally!!! Scanned and resubmitted!! It is 37” tall x 13.5” wide. This is the “First” time I have created art that is over 37 inches tall:))) I created this with archival ink, derwent graphitint watercolor pencils, staedtler watercolor pencils and some copic art markers. A marriage of Apophysis (flowers and “butterflies”), photography (grass and sky) and a roller ball drawing on cartridge paper – all my own. Combined in PSP Elements 2.0 with a layer of texture.
