This is an other piece done in colored pencil and ink. / It is difficult to see the innocence of children currupted by the bitterness and distorted reality of one who in a perfect universe would be nurturing and instilling a respect for the world. How tragic to be helpless in reaching the ones you love most, because of hatred and antisocial behavior which is being passed on.

by dolphinkistWanting to take a picture of this tea infuser but having terrible lighting in my kitchen, I took it to my living room so I could have some good natural light. / Getting a picture proved to be impossible though, since my cat claimed it as his new toy…I’d just get set up to take a great Macro with the right lighting, the right focus and the right angle so you couldn’t see my reflection… / At the perfect time, I’d push down for what I was hoping would be a great shot… / only to get a blurred paw and little to no infuser in sight! / This happened repeatedly. / I didn’t think to lock my cat in the bathroom. / Instead, I just gave in and figured this shot was a perfect telling of my afternoon.
